“I have been standing for many years and trusting God to provide for all my needs. Recently my military ID expired. I turned in all the information to see if I would qualify as a former spouse to just continue a few of my benefits. I received a letter today that not only granted my ID benefits, but also informed me that upon my husband’s retirement, I will receive medical insurance! God is so good and so many people are watching to see the outcome. Glory to God!” (North Carolina)

“I pray the Holy Spirit uses this testimony. My husband left me suddenly.  God told me pray like never before! I drew close to God in every way. Everyone, including my husband, told me to divorce him. He rejected God. Everything (in circumstances) said that it was over. I prayed for him every day and stood firm. I knew that these difficult circumstances were not something that was out of God's control. He finally reached out to me and said he couldn't do it any longer. He confessed everything. I got him safe to treatment, he accepted Christ in his life this week, and repented and asked for my forgiveness, which I readily offered! He says he loves me and has always loved me and thanks me for standing by him. He and I feel hope for our marriage. The Lord has great plans for our lives!”  (Ohio)

"My husband and I got divorced. Now my prodigal is calling and coming around even though he is supposed to get married to someone else. I never knew what it meant to let go and let God. Now I keep praying for the restoration of my marriage. You have helped me so much." (Indiana)

“I’m writing this with tears rolling down my cheeks. They are not tears of sadness but joy to know that my Heavenly Father loves me so much. He waited so long to have a relationship with me. I cannot earn or I don’t deserve His grace and mercy. But because of His great love for me (us), I’m here to serve Him with all my heart. Daily bible study/praying with my children has drawn us closer to God. I give Him all the glory, honor and praise. Just know that help is surely on its way; don’t give in. Keep on moving through these storms and soon enough you’ll find the door. Just don't give up! Revelation 3:8.”  (Ohio)

"I had been asking God to open the doors of communication between me and my spouse. I was placed in a situation where I ran into my spouse and the next day he contacted me. He said he will be contacting me soon so that we can set up time to see one another. This is all in line with what the Holy Spirit spoke to me. God is faithful and His timing is perfect." (Virginia)

"My daughter started reading your devotionals. She has suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and went to church with a friend and was openly mocked and rejected because of the way she is, broken and not dressing well. She said she's never going to church again, but yesterday, she saw one of your devotionals and started reading it. She's read it three times that I know of. Praise God, He is working." (Tennessee)

"My husband divorced me years ago and I've had no contact. I got my 'suddenly' this week. He emailed me out of the blue wondering how I was doing. We've been emailing each other now for a few days. I am amazed at the change that God did in him. My prayers are being answered. I know this is the start of our restoration. God is so wonderful. He was working behind the scenes when I never saw anything happening." (Indiana)

“I have been standing for some months now and some days are harder than others. My prodigal was coming around more often and calling more often but then I let my mouth get me in trouble. I know that the Lord is still working and I will not give up on the stand for my marriage. Even though my spouse says he will not come around as much, I know those are words from the devil. That is not what GOD says. God is still working on me and changing me and I know it won't be too long until my husband is back home with his family.” (Illinois)

“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm— my great army that I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the LORD your God, and that there is no other; never again will my people be shamed.”  Joel 2:25-27

"My Lord is faithful. My husband has been absent for a long time. Through prayer, fasting and faith my marriage is on the way to being restored. He is on his way home from Iraq and this will be our first encounter since we spoke of getting back together. I am excited and thrilled to see what God has in store for us." (Indiana)

“The Lord has been so faithful! My spouse recently remarried, but God continues to show Himself to be sovereign. The Lord has kept me and continues to speak to me through signs, songs, sermons, etc. as a reminder to keep believing and to stand strong and place all trust in Him. Cry out to the Lord, as He hears and understands. God has called us to stand and He will never bring you to something He won't bring you through! Praise Him in advance!”  (Ohio)

"My husband invited me and our daughters to Christmas Eve service after years of separation and divorce. We were able to celebrate the birth of our Savior together as a family for the first time in years. My husband also spent half of Christmas day with us. I see the tug of war in his heart and know it is a matter of time before He is home for good." (Georgia)

She exclaimed to the king, “Everything I heard in my country about your achievements and wisdom is true! I didn’t believe what was said until I arrived here and saw it with my own eyes. In fact, I had not heard the half of your great wisdom! It is far beyond what I was told.”  2 Chronicles 9:5-6 (NLT)

“Praise the Lord ! My prodigal wife has agreed to bring the kids to see me. Thank God, that Our Lord has touched her heart; hopefully we will be able to build from here. I’m still struggling with my stand, but this surely gives me hope that God is working behind the scenes. Please continue to pray for each other. And always put God first.”  (Florida)

"My husband left me and our babies and divorced me. He came back in my life after our divorce and asked me to marry him again. I never thought it would happen, God gave me Psalm 46:10 thru my stand." (South Africa)

"In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children will have a place of refuge." Proverbs 14:26

“I write this today knowing it is so important to encourage others in their stand as I have been encouraged in mine by reading their testimonies. Even when the situation remains the same on the outside we can be assured that God is working on the inside and that our Amazing God is in control of every detail of our situation. I recently had two court dates in one week. One in eviction court and one in divorce court. I placed the dates on the ‘Lord's Docket’ and know many people were in prayer. God showed up in so many ways from providing a Christian friend to go with me (I do not have an attorney) to having the judge speak kindly and compassionately to my husband. Both cases ended up with God's victory of allowing me to remain in our home. I was amazed at how specific God's answers were to my personal prayers and know without a doubt that He loves me and He does hear us and answer our prayers as we stand in obedience to Him.”  (Illinois)

“Although my marriage has yet to be restored, the Lord started to restore other relationships that had been broken. My son came first after almost a year of separation. After seven years of not speaking, the Lord restored my relationship with my mom. Then came the first of two of my younger sisters that I hadn't seen for almost six years and then my baby sister came around. The big surprise came the first week of January. God restored my relationship with my best friend who also left me about the same time as my baby sister. God does restore broken relationships. You just need to be patient and trust Him.”  (Canada)

“I have been asking the Lord for a sign that I am doing the right thing still standing. I have been having doubts that my prodigal will ever want to come home to us. But, PTL!!! Out of the blue this morning, as I was coming under an overpass of the interstate, there sat a Covenant Transport truck waiting to pull out! I normally would not have even noticed a truck, but the Lord made me look and read the side! I cried out to God in praises for answering me! I know now that this is the first day of the rest of my life and one day, in His perfect timing, my husband will be back home with me and our son! God is so good! He knows what we need and gives it when it is least expected.”  (Alabama)

“Praise God for bringing my wife back after over seven years of separation. We have now been back together for many months and going strong. I thank God for giving me the strength to stand and wait and bringing me to Rejoice Marriage Ministries. I pray for everyone out there waiting for their time to come. Just remember it is God's timing.”  (Minnesota)

“This is too funny not to share!! My husband called me yesterday to say that his car needed to go in the shop and could he borrow my van, which I seldom use. I said sure. Now here is the funny part: he and the OW are driving around in a van with a RMM license plate and frame stating GOD CAN & HEALS HURTING MARRIAGESand advertising the ministry! As soon as he pulled out of the driveway I just cracked up and had to share with my kids, who also laughed. God has a sense of humor, don't you think?!”  (Michigan)

"My job is physically stressful. At break time I bought a cookie but it got stuck in the vending machine. After a brief minute of frustration, I counted my change and called out loud, 'Lord, I need 20 cents, please.' Three feet away under the coffee machine was a quarter. Thank You, Lord. I was able to buy another cookie and received both. I apologized for my lack of trust. The Lord will restore my family." (Oregon)

"I finally really understand what it means to rely on God and only God for everything and to trust Him in my walk of life. I have been an infant in my faith but have fed on His Word like an infant needs nourishment and I am growing strong. I am learning to trust God, to trust myself, and even my prodigal husband." (Vermont)

"Over the weekend my spouse was supposed to pick up the kids and things fell through. I felt led to ask him to dinner over at my house so he could still see the kids. Praise God, he said yes. He has wanted nothing to do with me for months. I believe God was directing my spouse's steps, in spite of his plans." (Ohio)

"I heard the Holy Spirit tell me if I knew how close I was, I would not give up on my stand. I asked God to give me another sign. I was at my doctor’s and a worker had some boxes on a cart. The boxes were labeled in big letters with 'Fireproof.' That evening on the television a minister’s message was on being closer than you think. The minister said to not give up on your marriage. I know these were signs from God and I give Him all the glory." (Ohio)

"God has moved tremendously. My husband and I spent time with our pastor. Divorce is no longer an option and instead of making any decisions, my husband is focusing on his relationship with God. We talk more and my husband makes an effort every weekend to see our son. He is kinder, more affectionate and caring." (Florida)

"Although unemployed and bill paying is so uncertain, I had the nicest, most stress-free Christmas, focusing on the real meaning. Although difficult to do at times, I am stepping out not knowing how things will be taken care of, but trusting God will take care of my needs. Although my timing is not God's, He has not failed me." (Minnesota)

"My husband and I have talked about our marriage for the first time since our separation. Yesterday he was talking like the man I loved and married, telling me how much he loves me and our girls. I praise God as I see something has changed in my husband. I love the Lord and He is so faithful to me." (South Africa)

“They will follow theLord; he will roar like a lion. When he roars, his children will come trembling from the west.”  Hosea 11:10

"I have a praise for the Lord. We lost power Sunday night, when the remnants of the hurricane blew through. Everything that I just bought at the grocery store and put in the freezer was lost. A friend gave me gift cards for a restaurant and the grocery store, totaling what was ruined." (Pennsylvania)

"My prodigal's other person left after many years of praying/ believing/trusting God!" (Pennsylvania)

"God has really been working in the last month. My husband accepted the Lord into his life. I know that our restoration will be here soon. Thank You, Lord." (Arizona)

"I got laid off from work this week and came home to find the sheriff had been there to serve my divorce papers. I spent the next two days agonizing in prayer and reading God's Word. I asked God to show me I was on the right path and what to do. Bob's segment on 'The Lord's Hospital' was great, then I went to church and the pastor preached on 'God's Emergency Room.' My son got saved that night. God has given me the assurance that I am on the right track. He is healing our broken family." (Tennessee)

"God is great. I am now working. A long time after finishing my studies I went without work. I thank God for everything that He is doing in my life." (Botswana)

“My husband divorced me many years ago and I have been standing for most of those years after I heard strongly from the Lord. Never give up because I actually have gotten stronger through the years and I have prayed to let God have control. As hard and lonely as it gets to stand, God will always give you something to hang on to. It’s better to serve the Lord and wait for His best then to be of the world and just move on when God hates divorce. I believe He works on the prodigal’s heart through our praying daily. Thanks to everyone at RMM and for all the uplifting testimonies.”  (California)

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”  Isaiah 43:18-19

"My divorce was finalized today, but it is okay, for I have put my trust in the Lord. I stand for my marriage and know the Lord will work wonders. One day my husband will come to my daughter and I." (Hawaii)

“I have been discouraged and asked God for a sign that He is indeed working on the other side of my mountain of circumstances. This last week I received many encouraging signs. I saw a truck that said, 'All-Phase Restoration.’ We rarely see Covenant Transport trucks in our state, but often we see Swift trailers. The new ones only say the initials of the company, but I saw several old Swift trailers this week. God has given much truth and light to me. I am standing firm.John 8:12 - ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’”  (Colorado)

“I have been praying for a sign from God and I live in Chicago. I never thought I would see a Covenant Transport truck. Well I saw one, thank You Jesus! God is working on the other side of the mountain."  (Illinois)

"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."  Mark 11:22-24

"My husband called yesterday on my birthday to say he was sorry and wanted to come back. He has been back to church and praying. God’s Word is true." (United Kingdom)

"Last Wednesday's 'Charlyne Cares' mentioned being used by God to help other marriages while standing. I prayed for this. Friday a dear friend who is a backslidden Christian called me. His wife has threatened to divorce him. He knew somehow to call me, and had not told other friends. He has been listening to the world and preparing for divorce in his heart. By the end of the conversation, he has recommitted his life to Christ and is now standing for his marriage. Praise God." (North Carolina)

"We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name."   Psalm 33:20-21

"I received an unexpected pay raise and encouragement from friends in unusual ways and at just the right time. The Lord has blessed and sustained me mightily yet the actions of my spouse can cause me to be distracted. As I pray and read the Bible I am reminded that the restoration of my marriage is not my primary need. If I don't seek God's face and seek to be obedient and submissive to Him I have missed it all." (Tennessee)

"I recently started back to work. I found out my co-worker is a prodigal. My circumstances are out of control, but God has placed me directly in the path of a prodigal. The Lord is in control of all things." (Kansas)

Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!  Isaiah 30:18

“From the beginning of separation, before I knew the term standing, I prayed for my spouse's return to faith in Christ and to our marriage. Then for a time I prayed for indifference, because nothing appeared to be changing and loving my husband hurt deeply. But God told me that prayer and love cannot be separated. Except for occasional moments of doubt, I have always believed my prayers would be answered. It was lonely until I stumbled across this ministry a couple of years ago. Charlyne Cares has encouraged me when even my closest confidantes told me to give up. My Lord Jesus has provided and given me peace through many difficulties, including joblessness and family turmoil. He has revealed sin areas in my life and continues to purify me. I would never have chosen this path for myself, but I praise God for giving me the grace to submit to His holy will during this time. He has recently revealed my prodigal is tired and looking home. I am filled with expectant hope in Christ Jesus!”  (Pennsylvania)

“The church secretary called today to ask if I would be willing to help in the nursery every few weeks. This may seem small but praise God. This is the first time God has asked me to serve Him outside of telling me to stand and get my house in order. Thank You, Jesus!”  (Illinois)

"God is so great. It is a few months now with my husband back at home after a separation. Prayer is the only way. I cried to the Lord and He answered and listened to my cry. He is so wonderful." (South Africa)
