"Thank You Jesus for providing for everything. I am not working and God has used people to pay my bills, give me clothes and provide my needs. Before my surgery I asked God to take away the torment because my husband was not with me and that all would go well with no pain. He answered. Someone took me to the hospital, stayed with me, brought me home, provided money for prescriptions and bought me groceries." (Texas)
"God is great. Not really believing anymore; worrying about the example I set to the children; tears, pain and envy. Yet, in spite of all this, God continues to send His angels to support me. These are miracles I don't deserve. I know then the truth of Song of Solomon 8:6-7 that was on our wedding invitation; 'Love as strong as death, waters unable to quench love, money being unable to buy love.' I read them again and see God's greatness." (Hong Kong)
“Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” Jeremiah 32:17

“In the last three years I've lost my brother, then my husband left me, lost my job then more recently my home, but not my hope. God always provides for me, He gave me hope that my brother is in Heaven and my marriage will be restored. He already gave me a new job and when I lost my home my husband let me come back to our original home that we purchased together when we married 15 years ago. He is not there but his mother is. God has a funny way of doing things. He put the two women who he feels have always held him back in the same home! Today God led me to Zechariah 9:12. I'll never give up. I know my suddenly will come in His time. Still going strong! Please never lose hope!” (California)
"Praise and Glory to our God and the hearer of all prayers. My husband and I skipped our court date and spent the morning with each other and our children. He says that we are not back together again but wants me and the kids to live with him. I thank God for this ministry because when he left me and the children...he said he would never return or be near me again. So if there is one thing I know it's that prayer changes things." (Texas)
"One year ago today, my husband told me he was going to the store. He did not return for Christmas. He did not return until late March of this year. In July he filed for divorce, moved out and informed me he was "in love" with someone else. Today my prodigal husband is home, the divorce was canceled and we are headed out of state to celebrate Christmas with his family. I owe all I have and all that I am to our Lord and Savior. Without finding Him, trusting Him and rededicating my life to Him I don't even want to think about where I would be right now. I share my story to give glory and praise to our Father! But also to encourage others who are standing for their marriage to never give up! My marriage was deader than dead- but God turned it around!” (Minnesota)
“But God...God is so good. To all the standers, please continue to stand on God’s Word and keep pressing into God. My husband and I have been separated for some time, but I started to speak into the atmosphere that God would bring my husband home in 2012 and remove the OW before the New Year. Praise God, the OW was moved out of my husband’s home before the New Year and on the first day of the New Year my husband called wanting to know if we could work things out. We are going to take things slow but I know that with God all things are possible. Keep trusting and keep believing. God is able.” (Virginia)
"Standing has been a huge financial hardship as my prodigal was unwilling to help financially. Last week God moved him to change and we are now making budgets together as a married couple does. We have made progress where even a counselor and a pastor thought there was no hope. God is so faithful to resurrect the dead." (Michigan)
"God is so great. Yesterday, at work a co-worker came up to me and asked me if I know a certain pastor from my hometown and I said yes. I suddenly remembered this was the pastor of the church that my husband attended at Easter a year ago. I know my marriage restoration is coming very soon. Thank You Jesus." (Georgia)
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38
This poor man called, and the LORD heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Psalm 34:6-7
"My prodigal has now been in touch with me every day for several weeks. He told me he misses me and our home and he knows I am praying. He also told me he loves me and he can not erase me from his life. He asked me to keep praying. I know through prayer, God's Word and constant confirmations that He will indeed have the last say." (United Kingdom)
"I have been awaiting notice from lawyers for a court date my husband is pushing for as for he wants to end our marriage. However, I have been standing for many months on God's promise of marriage restoration. I received a notice yesterday for a court date I have been asking God to postpone or block. He came through! Our final hearing isn't until January, 2012. PTL! God is moving, He can do lots in nine months." (Florida)
"I will praise you forever for what you have done; in your name I will hope, for your name is good. I will praise you in the presence of your saints." Psalm 52:9
“My husband has come back home! We have been divorced for seven years and there were no signs that he was coming back. There were times that I wanted to give up but then I would ask God to give me the desire to pray for him again and He always did. He is faithful. My husband called me and asked if he could stay with me and of course I said yes. He has now told numerous people that we are working on getting back together. Do not give up.” (Michigan)
“My spouse called me early one morning last week and wanted to come over to talk. I had a sick feeling that he'd changed his mind about trying to reconcile, but I was totally wrong! He wants to go ahead and end the separation and come home! He followed through with that so I can see he is serious. Praise Jesus May miracles never cease.” (Florida)
"My husband has suffered severe business losses as well as a long affair. I thought I could not take it anymore. After discussing divorce last week, he now says he would like to try and work things out. We know there is always hope in the Lord. Thank you, Charlyne and Bob for keeping me going through the darkness. The Lord is working." (Illinois)
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal. Isaiah 26:3-4
“I prayed that my prodigal would text, call or email me more. He contacted me, wanting to chat. PTL. He needed me to take care of an important issue. The Lord spoke to me, ‘Your prodigal is learning to trust you again.’ I praise the Lord for being ever faithful even when we are weak. He still gives us something to hold onto. He gives Himself. Thank You Jesus!” (Texas)
"Shout with joy to God; all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious." Psalm 66:1-2
"Yesterday my wife told me she was pregnant. She is living with a man and is now expecting his child. The news knocked me back. My closest friend asked me, 'Are you ready to accept that child as your own?' God has blessed me with such a believing friend. I talked with my wife last night. I reconfirmed to her the pregnancy does not matter. My daughters and I will wait for her to come home. This is hurtful, but I refuse to look at the water. I will continue to walk on water, focusing on Christ. Thank you for your teachings that help lay a foundation on Christ." (Washington)
"The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen." II Timothy 4:18
"Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings." Isaiah 58:12-13
"Today is my anniversary and I am so glad my husband and I are back together. I praise the Lord for this because it is only because of Him that this is happening. My boss let me have the day off to be with my husband. I hope soon that we will be together during the week, but right now we are a few hours apart during the week because we haven't sold our house yet, but I am with him on the weekends mostly. Thank You, Lord again for this." (Illinois)
"I thank God for His goodness and for your ministry. I woke up one morning with a song on my heart,'Stand.' In reading my journal from the same day three years ago, God had given me the same song. I know that was my confirmation from God to stand for my marriage." (Virginia)
“I was so discouraged and depressed this week and God let me see a Covenant Transport truck followed right behind by a PTL truck. I began to praise the Lord. I thanked God for moving ‘on the other side of my mountain’ and about 30 minutes later, I read a post from an old high school friend that said, ‘Don't back down the mountain, God is moving on the other side and the answer is going to meet you at the top.’ God is indeed answering prayers and I know that my husband will be restored both to God and to his family. I am praying that God will block all divorces and send prodigals home.” (Florida)
"My prodigal who lives out of state bought me a plane ticket and I was able to go to where he lives and spend a few days with him. It was so much fun. I know the Lord is working in this situation and I am going to keep praying for his salvation and our home to be brought back together." (Ohio)
"God is working. My covenant spouse, who divorced me, joined me and our children for Easter dinner, coloring eggs, and an egg hunt. I gave each child a copy of our home movies and I also gave a set to my spouse. Before he left he gave me a hug for inviting him and for the DVD." (Maine)
He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were. Romans 4:17b
“After several months of no contact with my wife, she is beginning to let go and forgive me for my faults. We still have a little ways to go but I can testify that God does answer the prayers of the righteous and is faithful and just to forgive.” (North Carolina)
Our Lord moves mountains PTL. After a year and a half separation my prodigal is home. The devil led him astray to another woman and he hardened his heart and ears to the Lord. The Lord promises us that His Words do not return void. The Lord finds His lost sheep and while I let go and let God, always in prayer, God also found me and rebuilt me then opened my husband's ears and softened his heart and showed him the deception that Satan had blinded him with. Our God is an amazing God. Praise and Glory to Him, never give up. Allow God to move the mountain and fill your heart and your prodigal's heart because what He did for me He'll do for you. Amen." (Florida)
"I want to give God glory and honor for giving me the strength and peace to continue my stand for the restoration of my marriage. Having this relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ has made me realize that it is not about me but His Glory that will come out of this trial, and He has a purpose in my life as well as my spouse’s." (New Mexico)
"My wife called to ask how to do something on her computer. I know the other person would have been furious to know she called me about it. A couple of days earlier I had noted in my journal a prayer for communication." (North Carolina)
"When my husband came to pick the kids up for the weekend, he said he wanted to work on our marriage this (new) year. Praise the Lord. My husband read what Bob wrote about the curve in the palm trees and it hit home. Thank You so much, Lord." (Michigan)
"Praise the Lord. My husband had called for divorce days ago, but today we are painting our house together and he is caring for our dog. God is turning my husband’s heart of stone into heart of flesh. Thank You, God." (Singapore)
"At church my pastor read a verse in Psalm 105 that started 'He hath remembered his covenant.' Thank You, God even though my spouse has left ours, God remembers it." (Idaho)
"I had a rough weekend wondering how this once devoted husband and father is satisfied with only spending a couple of hours a week with his three children. I prayed and cried out to the Lord Tuesday morning pleading with God to show me that my mountain is being moved. A couple of hours later my husband called me. He hasn't called me in months. We only communicate by text if at all. He wanted to know how the kids were and how I was. He said he wanted to stop by over the weekend but didn't know if it was OK. I told him it is absolutely OK. Thank You, Lord for answering me quickly ." (California)
"I read a testimony about a husband who wished his wife a happy anniversary for the first time in years. I prayed my husband would remember me on my upcoming birthday. A couple of hours later, my husband called and wished me a happy Mother's Day for the first time in years. God's timing is perfect. Praise the Lord." (Arkansas)
"The Lord brought my husband to his family reunion. He left his non-covenant wife at home. We went together as a family. He stayed for an additional week's vacation and we had a lot of family time. The Lord is healing my family and marriage. Praise to Jesus." (Rhode Island)
"I am standing for the restoration of my marriage, but am also believing for many family members to come back to the Lord. On Easter Sunday my daughter called and told me that she rededicated her life back to the Lord. Hallelujah. God is faithful." (Ohio)
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
“My husband left many, many years ago, God spoke to me...I have been standing physically but sometimes, mentally, my mind has wandered. Even though I lose faith, God has remained faithful. Only now in the last year, I am seeing progress. The two hour phone calls every now and then I am receiving have been worth the wait.” (Australia)
“We serve a mighty God! After many months of separation, my prodigal husband came home. We had been separated many times before and I always brought him home through works of the flesh and it wasn't permanent change. This time I did nothing but pray and stand. We have a long road ahead of us but instead of lecturing I am zipping my lips and crying out to our Lord Jesus Christ to convict my husband in his heart of his responsibilities. I KNOW our Lord will not fail us and He will provide all of our needs through my husband's hard work. He is risen and so is this dead marriage. Praise God Almighty who can raise anything from dry bones to the living.” (Idaho)
“But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” 2 Chronicles 15:7
“My husband and I are reconciled after a separation. I continued to stand for him and I learned to grow in the process. We thank God every day for His love and power. We are stronger than we ever have been. I'm so thankful for Charlyne's web site. You helped me to stay encouraged." (Florida)

“God came through in a mighty way today. A loan modification for our mortgage was finally completed and the payment is lower than expected. God deserves all the glory!! Amen!” (Illinois)
“PTL!! My husband is still very much a part of our lives, almost daily. He is now coming over just about every Friday night after work to see our son. Last Friday night he asked if he could come with me to take our son trick-or-treating. Then, Monday night, he met me and we went. We had a wonderful family time together! I just pray that he sees how much he misses his family and hears God telling him to come home, to Him and to us! I pray for his salvation every day, and my son and I pray together every night, for God to watch over him and bring him home! That mountain will move one day, I trust God!” (Alabama)
