"I am currently standing for my husband who has left and said that our marriage is over. As our anniversary approached, I wanted to send a card but wasn't sure if I should. I prayed to God for a sign and then began reading 'Prodigals Do Come home.' The encourager at the end of the chapter was to select a card for your spouse. What an awesome God we serve!"  (North Carolina)


"The Lord has restored my foundations! I have reconciled with my parents and my in-laws since Thanksgiving. I had the opportunity to tell my mother-in-law of my stand and speak to my father-in- law and encourage him to stand for the resurrection of their marriage! I prayed that I would be able to spend time with my husband this holiday and that he would receive me with open arms for a kiss and hug. The Lord made it happen! Whether my prodigal realized it or not he had his arms open and he received a hug and kiss from me! Though it's hard to see it most of the time, by faith I know it is being done. PTL!" (Virginia)


“I was called to stand a few years ago. In these last few years I have seen the Lord constantly at work at my spouse's heart, especially in this past year. We are divorced in the eyes of the court, and my spousal support is due to run out soon. I am not able to work outside the home because of our children’s' needs, and the spousal support is how I pay the house payment and a lot of our bills. This week out of the blue, he said that he was going to petition the court and extend the spousal support because he doesn't want us to have to move. This is the second time this year that he has been moved to help us in a big way. Several months ago he asked the court to raise the child support amount. The judge was very surprised, and told us she doesn’t remember that ever happening in her court before.”  (Michigan)

"Praise God, it has been several years since my prodigal returned and while we still struggle I continue to pray for God's guidance. I am an attorney and I often get divorce cases. I have had an opportunity to counsel many and rejoice when they withdraw their petitions. God is good. While this does not help my business, I remain happy every time a client calls and tells me they have reconciled with their spouse." (Florida)

“Hallelujah! The Courtroom Prayer Warriors must have been praying very hard! The court dates were continued at the last minute. This is now a four month delay! God has His plan through the difficulties. My lawyer is suddenly retiring but I am calm because I trust God and He speaks so strongly to me. A powerful witness to my lawyer and wonderful lessons for my children witnessing God's miracles protecting us. I am very weary from the battle, but knowing others are praying and God is speaking keeps me going! God bless you all! I pray for you too. Thank You God for yet another miracle!”  (California) 


"Last week I got divorce papers. This week traffic was real bad and I tried a different way back and saw a Covenant Transport truck. The timing of everything that had to go wrong to see that truck was perfect. The next morning as I took the same road I always do, I passed another one. I have traveled this road for almost a year and have not met one until that morning. I took it as God saying be ready for the unexpected because I wasn't expecting to see two trucks the same week. He loves us so much. Blessed be the Lord God."  (North Carolina) 


"Easter Sunday my daughter sang in the kid’s choir at church, I mentioned it to my absent husband and he asked about it a few times. I answered the questions and let God do His mighty work. My husband did come. Our Pastor preached a great sermon on salvation and I am trusting my husband took something with him. He also took us to lunch and we did the traditional Easter egg hunt for our kids in our home. Our kids had a great time. I give my God all the honor and glory." (California)

“God is always faithful. After several months of non-communication and my fasting and praying through that time period, my spouse began to communicate with me around Easter. After five days of him contacting me for one reason or another, I had to make a short trip on the interstate and God gave me an overload of signs - I saw an ‘On Time Every Time’ truck which I had never seen before along with many others right in a row. The next two days I didn't hear anything from my husband so I believe this was reassurance even though I didn't ask. I had to make another short interstate trip the next day and God gave me a Quick Way, On Time Every Time, Express, United, and two Covenant Transport trucks within ten minutes of getting on the road! I asked all winter long to see Covenant Transport trucks and I only saw two even though I traveled almost every weekend. Two in one day is incredible and again I didn't even ask! I believe my suddenly is right around the corner!”  (Indiana)

“I have been standing for several years and this is a dry and silent season right now. But God! I am blessed to have a Covenant Transport truck parked right beside my parking lot at work. I park right beside it every work day. This truck has come back the last several years and parked during the summer months and always right when I need it. When it came this year I was witnessing to some co-workers about the truck and my stand and it has been parked there ever since. PTL!”  (Ohio)


"My husband and I were separated for months and during that time I found 'Charlyne Cares' and decided to stand for my marriage to be restored. "I have been praying for God to change my husband’s heart, but He changed mine. I was so blinded by satan that I couldn’t see my own faults. The day God changes all that in me I met my husband to switch the kids in a fast food parking lot and he asked if we could all go in and eat. We sat for 20 minutes with the kids like the family we once were and will be again. God showed me I am on the right track and He even gave me the biggest rainbow I have ever seen on the drive to prove it. I am now praying that God changes my heart so I am ready when my husband comes home." (Washington)

A missionary friend in China told me today that she had a lady making a decision to divorce and changed her mind after hearing about my stand for my marriage. He did not reciprocate for Valentine's Day. I was very blessed and surprised to find that he did buy me thoughtful gifts for both those occasions. I am still praying for a miracle. "My husband and I attended a funeral for a family member who had been married for many years. The minister chose to focus on that as he remembered her life, speaking of the responsibility couples have caring for one another as well as for helping each other get to Heaven. As he spoke, our son told me he caught his father looking over at me. God powerfully reminded me I am on the right road." (Minnesota)


"My wife recently divorced me and this Christmas could have been so hard. My wife did not want me to even see the kids but God led me to pray rather than be bitter. My wife changed her mind completely and allowed me the time to celebrate our Savior's birth with our kids that I had longed for. God is working and is still in control. Praise God!" (Oregon)


"Of all the things I've prayed about over the past years, I have never prayed that God would give me more money. I've prayed that He would stretch my funds so that I could make ends meet, and He has. I've prayed that I would learn to be frugal, and I have. But He has blessed me exceedingly, abundantly above all that I could have asked or hoped for. Instead of losing my job, which was a possibility, I was given a 30% increase in salary. How amazing God is." (Minnesota)


“This week was difficult as it was a milestone birthday for me, plus my wedding anniversary. After much prayer, I sent my husband a private Facebook message (he is married to the OW). I told him how special the date is to me, wished him Happy Anniversary and told him that I love him and pray for him daily. I thought he would ignore the message or delete me from Facebook. Instead, he replied and said he read it over and over again and was speechless! He went on to say that he wished we could turn back time and do it right. He said he loved me then and always will love me (a far cry from I don't love you and never have that he said when he left). PTL. All in His timing.” (Florida) 


“I got a call at my office from the OW. She called to apologize and to say she was wrong and she didn't want to have anything to do with me, my husband, my children or my family. My husband still says that he does not love me but God is greater than any man. That call from the OW was proof enough that God speaks to people and the Holy Spirit convicts. I will never give up. I encourage everyone standing to never give up. God is bigger than what people portray Him to be. Just have faith in Him and trust Him with all your heart. He will perform His Word in your marriage and it will be for His honor and glory.” (Texas) 


"My prodigal has told me there is someone else in his life. This week I was on my way to meet him to pick up our son. When my prodigal pulled up there was another woman in the truck. I praise God for putting me in the right mind set to handle the situation with grace. Before we parted ways my prodigal hugged me and I told him that I loved him! God has given me confidence that I need not worry about that woman." (Mississippi)

“I just want to thank God for His love. My husband is living at home but still involved with the other person. I praise the Lord that His loving arms are always open. God does walk with us through trials and tribulations; there is no way without Jesus as my Guide and Lord and Savior. God is changing me and I see God at work in my husband. "As I sought God's will if I should invite my prodigal husband to Christmas Eve, I sought guidance from my sister-in-law. As she sought God’s will for me, she got an immediate answer that kindness is never out of fashion, so I invited him. My husband accepted, drove hours to and from my home to be with me and our children and grandson. We went to church, he kissed me publicly and we had a wonderful family time. God's will and timing is perfect." (Ohio)


“My spouse spent Christmas morning with me and our children. We were so happy. He opened presents and expressed how sorry he was for ruining our lives and that maybe next year would be different. The next week was a whole different story. I had become weary and lacking in faith over Christmas so when I opened the Bible to Isaiah 46:11-13, I had to chuckle at our Lord's humor, you of little faith!”


“I was weary and questioned whether or not to continue this stand. I told God I was tired, but that I would do what He wanted me to do. Oh yes… God is good. He gave me Habakkuk 2:3 during my time in His Word today! God always provides the encouragement we need when we need it! I am thankful I serve a God who knows all hearts and watches over His people.” (Georgia) 


“I have been a stander for two years. I have seen a few Covenant Transport trucks during trips to Florida and Pennsylvania, but I NEVER saw one in my area. I believed it to be very unlikely that I would ever see one in this part of the country. I said to God, ‘If I ever see a Covenant Transport truck around here, I will take that as a definite sign from You that You are speaking to me about our marriage restoration.’ Lo and behold, I saw one on my way to work last week. The first words out of my mouth were, ‘Oh my God’ quickly followed by ‘Thank You Lord!’” (Rhode Island) 


"Our divorce was recently final. I was driving and asked God to reveal Himself to me and asked Him what I should do about our marriage at this point. A few minutes later, a truck came up on my right and on the back window, it read 'Pray without ceasing.' Under that it had the word 'Marriage.'" (Kentucky)


"My dad told me this morning that he is praying for my spouse after months of him refusing to accept me standing for my marriage. He was once a prodigal himself so I could never understand why he was so against me praying my husband back home. Today's devotional was by far the best I have ever read. I can feel God moving in all aspects of my life even through all the tears and pain. Thank you Charlyne, Bob and RMM. Isn't it amazing how Bob is still affecting my life?" (Virginia)


"My God is an awesome God. He hears my cry and answers me. My husband and I separated a while ago. Although I thought when he left he would never speak to me again, through prayer and thanksgiving and praise to God he has been calling and checking on me as well as stopping by occasionally to visit. We are talking and I feel very soon that we will be reconciled by the grace of God. I am learning to be joyful and patient and wait on the Lord. I'm learning to stand the way Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, would have it." (Tennessee)


Perhaps the reason he was separated from you for a little while was that you might have him back for good— no longer as a slave, but better than a slave, as a dear brother. Philemon 1:15-16a 


"I spend quiet time with the Lord daily and have found Him to be an ever faithful Father. In recent weeks I have cried out to Him with questions. As I was driving home one afternoon, on a church marquee I read 'There is power in prayer.' I was given scriptures in answer to my questions. Praise and glory to our God." (Pennsylvania)


"This past weekend while snowmobiling, dealing with difficulties including no headlight in the dark, I said a silent prayer for God to get us back to base safely. As we were gliding across fields and trails through the woods, there was a brightly lit red cross in the middle of what felt like nowhere. Praise God He can still find some way to give us a sign." "Thank You God for everything You are doing in my life and the lives of our children. My husband asked his child if he was wanted back at home. He saw me at a ball game and said hello to me. I know God is in control." (Florida)


"We serve a God who does the impossible! My spouse left his non-covenant marriage almost 6 months ago and moved to another state. During that time (although I saw nothing!), God was 'moving on His side of the mountain!' He recently announced to me that he wants his family back as quickly as he can get a divorce. His heart indeed changed suddenly, and thanks to this ministry and the work of the Holy Spirit, I am ready to receive him back! I had asked my husband long ago to forgive me for not being a godly woman during our marriage, but I had asked out of self ambition (to get him back) and not out of obedience to God. So I started praying for the opportunity to have this conversation with him. Right before he was to come over Satan started working on me, ‘You've already asked forgiveness. You're going to upset him.’  But I heard God say, ‘Error on the side of obedience.’ I asked my husband for forgiveness and he then asked me to forgive him. He HAS NEVER asked me that AND he said he prays for me every night! I give God all the praises! Keep standing for your marriage! God is working even when we don't see it!”  (Arizona) 


"We had a miraculous weekend. My husband showed up from out of town at 1 A.M. to surprise his mom for her college graduation. God is moving mightily. He said his goodbyes to the kids and we left for church. When we arrived at a family house after church, my husband was still in town. We got to see God's message in action. Praise God." (Texas)

"Praise God that my husband spent Valentine's Day at home. He had decided to move to be with the other person. I have been praying and fasting for the Lord to touch his heart. I cried tears of joy when he gave me a beautiful bouquet. I had the pleasure of cooking a lovely dinner for the two of us." (England)


“Praise God, I had a wonderful answer to prayer this past week as I finally got my internship assigned after an agonizing seven months, and with the perfect team of people who hold my same work philosophies. Just as I was about to pull out of my road a van appeared from nowhere and I was forced to follow it all the way into town. On the van it said in very big letters 'Swift’’ Thank You Lord for hearing me and giving me an answer. No more grumbling and complaining, my suddenly is on the way. My husband will be home swiftly! "Our Lord has such a way of working things out. My son's youth group had a retreat recently. His father offered to pick up him from the camp so that I wouldn't have to drive. It turned out they still needed more drivers so I ended up driving anyway. I got to see my husband attend the chapel service and serve the youth by transporting all the kids' luggage. He looked happier than I've seen him in a long time. I got to thank him and so did the youth leaders. God works in wonderful ways!”  (California)
