"I was touched by a small act of kindness when I needed it most. I pulled up to the window at the coffee shop to pay and was told that the lady in the car ahead had paid for it. She had no idea what she did for me, as I was on the way to see my father who is dying. I was so blessed by her random kindness. I left hoping to find her but she was long gone. Instead I just prayed blessings for her." (Minnesota)

"My husband and I are separated and he moved out of the country and has not contacted me. I was not sure if I would be able to buy Christmas gifts for my children and family this year. My husband came home unexpectedly at Thanksgiving and gave me money to cover Christmas. He also said he would be coming back to spend Christmas. God is working on his heart." (North Carolina)

“I thank God for this holy season of Advent: a time of wonder, watching, prayer, and hope - a time of waiting for the coming of our Lord. This Advent, I will mark our first wedding anniversary since our legal divorce was finalized. I'm heartbroken, but I'm also grateful to God for giving me vacation time for an extended retreat, which will allow me to pray and fast during our anniversary week. I will take with me the prayers and petitions of all standers. Thank you all for being my ‘cloud of witnesses.’ May the Lord spur our own confession, repentance, healing, and praise, so that we may be fellow workers with Him for the restoration of our marriages and our families.”  (District of Columbia)

"My husband filed for divorce. I had been praying for our marriage to be restored. I found a Christian lawyer and told him I was standing for my marriage and my husband’s salvation. Our first court date was set and God was good. My lawyer convinced my husband's lawyer and the judge to vacate the date. They advised us to seek counseling. Prayers were answered and it showed me God is working." (Colorado)

“I have been standing for some years. I've given up on ever seeing a Covenant Transport truck or receiving a sign to continue to stand. I drive from one city to another every other month to visit my daughter. I used to ask/beg God to see a Covenant Transport truck. On my last visit, I was content to ride and listen to my worship music. I saw four Covenant Transport trucks on this visit! All I could do was laugh.”  (Michigan)

"One evening this week I was crying since my husband confirmed that his next step would be a legal one. I cried out to God, telling Him I needed Him and asking Him to confirm my stand. At that very moment, my downstairs neighbor started to play 'The Wedding Song.' Our God is something else." (Trinidad and Tobago)

“Praise God! I have been offered a three week teaching contract after doing a few day’s supply work at that school. I have been crying out to God to help me support my family. I was feeling at a very low ebb yesterday when I received the phone call.  And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Jesus Christ.  Philippians 4:19.”  (Australia)

“God is softening my husband’s heart. He has gone from contacting a lawyer and telling me he wanted a divorce to telling me he loves me and wants our family back together. I know prayer and fasting has changed his heart. I know God is working on him and our marriage will be restored soon. Never give up and wait on the Lord.” (Texas)

"My husband left suddenly and has been home now for a year and a half. So much has happened in that time. God has become Lord of my life, but even more important is that my husband surrendered his life to Christ. Now we have a Christian home. God has led us to buy our first home together. I've learned lessons in faith that will always help me. My husband's beginning to learn, knowing how God has led me. What an incredible blessing to hear him pray. It's worth it all." (Ohio)

Please join with other standers on our Chapel Page to pray for men, women and children who need a divine healing touch from the Lord.

“I've been struggling for the past few years since my husband left me. But God! I've been offered a promotion that is a MAJOR increase for me. My mouth dropped to the floor with how much they are willing to give me. BUT GOD! is faithful; everything in His Word is true. Every promise He makes has to come to past! This is our time of Promise, where we will begin to SEE the Promises of God manifest right before our eyes. I'm declaring my husband will be home soon and my miracle season is here!”  (Georgia)

“Praise to our Lord Jesus Christ. Yesterday after a few months of separation my husband allowed me to hold his hands in prayer before a conversation that he wanted to have with me. I praise God that this is just the beginning stage of God softening my husband’s heart. He continues to ask for a divorce but I believe that God is working out our healing and restoration in Jesus’ Name.” (Indiana)

“I give God all the praise, glory and honor for He is worthy of all the praise. In God's Word He says, the God who gives life to the dead and callsthings that are not as though they were.Romans 4:17:b  I have taken God at His Word and put all my trust in Him and daily I confess the Word of God over my marriage and all marriages and stand in agreement with all standers. I have been praying for the salvation for all prodigals and for them to return to their godly senses. When we continue to stay steadfast in the Word of God and immovable and abounding in faith, God moves even when we cannot see. Thank You Lord for answering my prayers and bringing prodigals home.”  (Texas)

"I am praising God that after many months I am receiving positive communication from my husband. He has invited me to lunch several times. My estranged children have been slowly melting. The divorce proceedings have been put on indefinite hold only by God's mighty power. I am trusting God for complete deliverance and restoration for my entire family." (California)

"I asked God to arrange for me to see my husband if it was His will. I had mail for my husband, but really wanted a sign from God that He wanted me to take it to my husband. When I went to the store, my husband was driving in from the other direction. I talked to him in the store, then took his mail by afterward. Wait patiently for the Lord." (Arkansas)

“Thank You Lord and thank you to all the people who pray for people like me on the court room page. I went to see my lawyer today before the hearing tomorrow. My prodigal's lawyer had called and asked if they could get a new court date. PTL more time for the Lord to work! I wrote down a quote this morning because it spoke to me...’God's power is about to be demonstrated in your life in a mighty way!’ Yes! Yes! It was.”  (Illinois)

"My wife left me while I was in the military overseas. I felt led to stand for our marriage. God sent me many signs that I was doing His will. I was going to deploy again and was spending time with our daughter before leaving, staying in a hotel. My wife asked me to stay at her house my last night and she made my favorite meal. The next day when she took me to the airport, she told me she loved me. Praise God." (Korea)

"After a long separation and many false attempts, my husband has finally come home. Though many encouraged me to go on with my life, I stood and prayed that my husband would love me. The Lord began to put love in my husband’s heart months ago. The more I prayed, the worse it was getting, then the Lord stepped in. My husband returned suddenly. We have a long road ahead, but God will do what He said He will do. Prayer changes things. I realized that no matter what others may say, God has the last say." (Maryland)

“Every day this week that I asked God a question I flipped my Bible open and the answer to my question was on the page. I believe that my husband will be coming home if I just watch and be patient letting God handle it.”  (Arizona)

“My husband and I are separated. God has kept us both under His wing and I praise Him for all He has done. We were in the ministry for several years. My husband's heart is beginning to soften. God told me to put my story on here even though we are still separated....I'm learning to be obedient to His voice. Thank You Lord for answering prayers.”  (Georgia)

In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comfort delights my soul." Psalm 94:19

"I wanted to thank this Ministry. The past months have been some of the darkest but God has held me up. I may fall, but I come back up. I'm still standing and I will not be moved. 'On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.'" (Ohio)

The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made. The LORD upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.  Psalm 145:13-16

“After over a year of separation, living in states 1,000 miles apart, and a worldly divorce, God has remained faithful to His promise to restore our marriage. After not hearing from my prodigal at all for over a month, and being asked several times for me to ‘leave him alone and let him move on with his life,’ my prodigal decided to meet me for lunch and we had a nice long walk. I had prayed and fasted for the past month for God to move in my prodigal's heart. It was a small step but God reminded me that He is tearing down these walls one day at a time and that the battle is the Lord's, not mine. The story in 2 Chronicles has been lifesaving to me, especially the phrase,‘Take up your positions, stand firm, and see the deliverance the Lord will give you.’ (Virginia)

"The divorce papers got lost in the post and the court never received them. I praise the Lord for intervening." (United Kingdom)

"After a year of separation and years of affairs and emotional addiction, and at the door of mediation and divorce, my husband of many years is moving back home today. The Lord answered intense prayers and fasting. Believe in His promises." (Texas)

"I have been praying for God to heal both myself and my husband and to restore this marriage. Yesterday I went to pick up my mail at the house. My husband asked me to stay for dinner. God does answer prayer and I know we are on our way to being restored." (Florida)

"Praise God, my husband has been back for a month. This is the same man that said he would never speak to me again, but I know our God is mightier. We have bought a house together. By standing and fasting God has restored my marriage. I pray that I never put God last in my life again. Now I pray that God will grab hold of my husband’s soul. I know the victory is there. Thank you so much for this positive place to turn to." (Louisiana)

"Yesterday I was uncertain if I should continue standing for my marriage and asked the Lord to show me a sign if I was to do so. I received a package from Rejoice Marriage Ministries that I was not expecting. It contained a license plate that said "Forgive Them" and on the back was a message from Bob & Charlyne. God is awesome on how quickly He sent a sign as big as day to encourage me during my stand. Thank you." (Georgia)

“After over a year of separation from my covenant spouse, I graduated with my master's degree and teaching certification this week. It has been a lifelong dream of mine, and a year ago nobody could have convinced me that I could get through the rest of graduate school and student teaching while going through such a wrenching time in my marriage, but God! God saw that it was important to my life and wanted to be glorified through my struggle. During this horrible separation I was able to fulfill a lifelong dream, and I give God all the glory. Let's keep standing and praying for our loved ones. God bless you; I'm praying with you.”  (Arizona)

"I was just about to give up on standing for my marriage when I tuned into a teaching on marriage. The one thing that was said that stuck with me was 'Don't give up.' I praised God and continued my stand. On both Saturday and Sunday my husband called." (Connecticut)

So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer.  Ezra 8:23

"My Heavenly Father has put it on my heart to get my husband a gift for Christmas. I remember my husband being upset because I did not take good pictures during his body building contest. I contacted the studio that took pictures during the contest. I explained my situation to the photographer. The photographer gave me a discount and also sent me ihilippians 4:13; 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.'" (Pennsylvania)

"Almost a year after the divorce, we are still living in the same house. I forget how blessed I am by God with this situation. God is faithful." (New Jersey)

"In the three years since I started reading Charlyne Cares, God has turned our marriage around. He is restoring my husband's relationship with our younger children and our oldest girls married wonderful Christian young men. God is good." (Canada)

"This Christmas we had most of our children, their spouses, and grandchildren home. I saw a wonderful soft side to my husband as he spent hours with our very sick baby granddaughter. The Lord ministered to his heart through this precious little one. The day is coming soon when he will return to the Lord. I can hardly wait." (Canada)

“I praise God Almighty for He is powerful and faithful. My beloved is on his way home. God is a resurrection God who keeps His promises. He called me to stand and gave me many verses, signs and miracles. My Father started with me and then began a work in my husband. He restored the love first and then a yearning that would never go away. My husband and I still have some obstacles but I know God has it already worked out. Now I stand stronger for the next part of the journey. All the glory and honor belongs to our Savior.  Hebrews 10:23...for He who promised is faithful.”  (Ohio)

“I met my husband tonight to pick up our children, as he had them for Christmas Eve. I decided to give him his card and one of his gifts that I knew he could really use. Even though the card was about love and family, he read it all carefully! He was also really surprised when he opened his gift and was excited to use it. I praise God that his heart was softened enough to accept them.”  (Washington)

"Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, "Why couldn't we drive it out?" He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:19-21

"Praise God, my husband came to our home for Easter dinner. We had a great night. The highlight of the evening was when we said the blessing and he began to pray, thanking God for our family, then broke into tears. God is softening his heart. I finished the prayer for my husband praising God for His goodness." (California)

"For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross." Colossians 1:19-20

“My wife texted me today asking if I had an extra Bible that she could have!”  (New York)

"After many months of standing and praying, my husband has started testing the water. His job is requiring him to be in our area several days a week. He doesn't look at me like a stranger any more. We had very limited communication while he was away. I am excited to see what is next." (Mississippi)

“I have been having a battle of heart in standing for my spouse. Two weeks ago I cried to God give me a sign, please, to know I am supposed to stay standing in this. That afternoon on the way home from work a song came on that I associated with my husband  and I started crying I was in a different lane for some unknown reason and I looked up with tears in my eyes through the back window of the car in front of me and smiled. There was a van from Tennessee with Covenant Transportation on it and I laughed with a warmth in my heart. He answered me quickly and I'm back on track and thankful to a loving God.”  (Florida)

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.  1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“I felt weary with how some of my husband's priorities still are, and how he is acting, even when things between us now are a lot better, considering we didn’t even see each other months ago. Last night I cried out to the Lord. I just felt tired and hurt, and consumed with how things are. I read the testimonies and some of Charlyne's Devotionals. I shouldn't be weary. I give praises to the Lord for His miracles. On our son's first birthday, my husband suddenly agreed to see us. He has said sorry for most of the hurtful things he's said to me, and that he doesn't mean it. He visits often now and called me up when he was away, and said he missed us. God has been good. He's given me comfort and miracles during this time. I have to trust. PTL.” (Philippines)

“Since starting my stand for our marriage, your website and other sources have brought me great strength and joy when it was most needed. Just when I need it the most, in moments of weariness, God speaks to me almost instantly. The other day I left our home to run some errands, leaving son and husband together. My husband has been coming home a lot to test the waters. On my way out, my eyes were drawn to a taxi at the roadside; on its driver’s door was written BOLD. I praised God at that point. But at the red light the same taxi stopped next to my car. I wanted to be sure of what I had just seen. Under the word BOLD was written: Trust, Reliability, Delivery! I was in complete awe and shock. Praying hard for that suddenly breakthrough at His perfect time. Praise and glory to God.”  (Malaysia)

"I've been standing for a few years. God has given me many signs. I had arrived at the point where I felt as though I no longer needed signs. Recently I encountered the most difficult week that I have had as a Christian. I heard the voice of the Lord instructing me to ask Him for a sign, so I did. He Gave me one later that day. The next day I heard Him say to ask again so I did and He gave another. On the third day I asked again and that night my niece called to let me know that she talked to my wife on the phone. She has not spoken to my family in over two years."  (North Carolina)

“After a short discussion on the phone with my husband, I was very sad and asked the Lord to confirm what He was doing with my husband and me. As He is faithful, I prayed and opened my Bible to Job 8:20-22:Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, Neither supports the hand of evildoers. He will yet fill your mouth with laughter, And thy lips with rejoicing. Those who hate you will be dressed in confusion; And the room of the wicked will perish.Thank God for confirming that I shall be glad for the restoration of my marriage!”  (Argentina)

“I was recently served divorce papers. I have been praying for a sign from God to allow me to stand for my marriage because I did not see any hope anymore. Today I asked God, ‘Do you really want me to stand for this marriage because if you do I need a sign.’ Later on that day, I was driving down the road and saw a Covenant Transport truck pass me by. I just shouted because I had never seen one before. I almost cried. This increased my faith instantly because I almost gave up on my marriage. I know healing is coming soon.”  (Maryland)
