"I had prayed and fasted for a Christmas miracle; a miracle according to my desires, which didn't happen. But another one did. When my children saw me crying they comforted me; they told me not to be sad; they reminded me that I had them and that they loved me. They also shamed me by repeating what I've told and taught them all these years: that God's miracles are not what we want, but what we need. So in tears and humility, I pray for greater strength, hope and love for the coming year. Most of all, I pray for a thankful heart for what I have, and what I will receive in 2011." (Hong Kong)
"I was driving to work and crying out to the Lord. I looked up in the heavens and asked the Lord to show me a ray of sunshine. A rainbow appeared reminding me of His Covenant. Praise the Lord for His promise." (Florida)
“God is so good! This was a dark week for me as I struggled with a rebellious son. Things were so quiet and I was not hearing from the Lord regarding my marriage. I lost my faith temporarily, but praise God, my parents are Christians and they prayed us through when I had no strength left. Tonight my son and I felt we should take a drive to see the sunset, and what did we see on campus tonight? My firstCovenant Transporttruck! I didn't think they ever came to my state and I saw one on a college campus after the worst week. I read other standers' testimonies about these trucks for over a year, not thinking it would be possible for me. Praise God! Then I was fasting and praying for others' marriages and this came from the Lord: ‘After Job had interceded for his friends, God restored his fortune -and then doubled it!’ Job 42:10. My suddenly is coming soon. Thank You, Lord, for working in our marriages.” (Arizona)
“I just want to thank God for His love. My husband is living at home but still involved with the other person. I praise the Lord that His loving arms are always open. God does walk with us through trials and tribulations; there is no way without Jesus as my Guide and Lord and Savior. God is changing me and I see God at work in my husband. We serve an AWESOME GOD!” (Florida)
"Praise the Lord! He hears our cry. He sees every tear and reaches far deeper than our incredible pain. I asked the Lord for a Word, and He told me he would bring my husband home and fix my marriage. I prayed and trusted God's Word and he came home suddenly. Jesus answers prayers and he is still speaks to His children." (New York)
"I have been praying and asking God for a confirmation on my stand. My husband called this morning just to check on me. He said something has been bothering him for a couple of weeks and he is not able to sleep. He just wanted to make sure I was okay. He then called a couple hours later to tell me to have a good day. Praise God." (Arkansas)
"Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart." Psalm 27:14
“My husband left home but glory be to our God who causes us to triumph. Just when I had thought there would be no way out, God brought my husband back in what could be described as a sudden moment. I can't precisely pin point how God did it but He did. My children are a lot happier and I cannot believe the joy and the way God has been healing our relationship. It's almost as if he never left. Praise God. I pray that someone is encouraged by all these testimonies on Rejoice Marriage Ministries and that they remain standing for their marriage because it is not a matter of 'if' but 'when' because God will surely answer your prayers.” (United Kingdom)
“I was recently served divorce papers. I have been praying for a sign from God to allow me to stand for my marriage because I did not see any hope anymore. Today I asked God, ‘Do you really want me to stand for this marriage because if you do I need a sign.’ Later on that day, I was driving down the road and saw a Covenant Transport truck pass me by. I just shouted because I had never seen one before. I almost cried. This increased my faith instantly because I almost gave up on my marriage. I know healing is coming soon.” (Maryland)
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
"I am a blessed woman of God. I was separated from my husband. I prayed, wept, repented, put God first again, read the Word, went back to church and got my house in order. God answered my prayer. I love Jesus for His unbroken promises." (Maryland)
"Recently our church started a Prayer Surge like the surge of military into Afghanistan. We decided to step up our attack on the Kingdom of darkness by opening up the chapel early mornings for increased prayer. I went at 6:30 A.M. twice a week. God answered my faithfulness by allowing my husband to be home for Christmas. We have been separated over a year. Christmas Eve my husband slept over and we celebrated a wonderful Christmas together with our children. I am thankful to God for this miracle and am going to continue with the prayer surge for my marriage." (Canada)
“Thank you to Charlyne for following God and writing the daily devotional for standers. I was also moved by the movie ‘Evan Almighty’ so today's devotional, again, was another confirmation to me. It's amazing how following God's directions bring so many confirmations along the way. Thank you, RMM, for being there to encourage us! Bless you.” (Arizona)
You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever. Psalm 30:11-12
"I have been separated and it has been a tough battle. Before even finding your site I kept feeling moved to put my wedding bands back on after not wearing them for two years. I had forgotten about the verse that was inscribed on my ring: Matthew 19:6 'What God has joined together let man not separate.' Whenever I need reminding, the Lord always draws attention to my ring finger. I am standing on the Lord’s Words that He hates divorce and His Word will not come back void. Anytime I feel like giving up the Lord is there to push me forward. Thank you for your encouragement." (New York)
"O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water." Psalm 63:1
"At the beginning of our separation when letting close family know our situation, they would ask questions. I refused to answer and just asked for prayer. I know that was God speaking to me and telling me to not give up and to stand for my marriage. When I get discouraged and my faith feels low, I thank God for always picking me back up. I give God all the glory." (Virginia)
"It has been four months since my husband and I have renewed our vows at our church. Thanks be to God, we have left the past mistakes behind and God is working in our marriage. We have more respect for one another and we are more affectionate. I never thought that area would recover due to unfaithfulness. We couldn't but God did it. The process is long but it is very much worth it." (Texas)
“Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood. For your Maker is your husband—the LORD Almighty is his name— the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth." Isaiah 54:4-5
“Praise God, a month ago the Holy Spirit led my husband home. It happened when I least expected it. My husband apologized for the wrong he had done yet still didn't understand how I could forgive him. I told him only by the grace of God, trusting and believing in His Word was I able to learn how to forgive him. I thank God every day for restoring my marriage. I want to encourage others to never give up on your prodigal. God is faithful if you just believe. Thank you RMM for everything, especially Charlyne and Bob, for being such an inspiration to me. Glory be to God!” (Missouri)
"With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God." Mark 10:27
“God will restore my marriage! I have been praying for some time for the Lord to communicate with me in some way. Today I was in the dentist's office waiting so I decided to read my Bible. Suddenly a verse showed itself to me. It was Isaiah 43:18-19. The good Lord has already started something new on the other side of my mountain of circumstances. Even though I'm traveling through a desert in my life, the Lord will make a road for me. I can't wait to see what God Almighty has in store for my spouse and I! Praise the Lord!” (Florida)
"My minivan was about done for and I had lost my job and had no money to replace it. I got a notice for a recall on it and the company bought it back and gave me a minivan in its place with a lot less miles and a year newer than what I had. God knows just what we need and when we need it. His timing is perfect." (Ohio)
“‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:3 I was standing for some years and I was feeling so exhausted and was thinking about giving up. I didn’t have any news from my husband for years and out of blue on my birthday he called to wish me happy birthday. I believe this is the great sign from God for restoration. Thank You God. God is working behind the scenes. I encourage all standers, don’t give up. Your miracle is on the way. Praise You Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit.” (United Arab Emirates)
"I decided to pray for giant, impossible things, since with God nothing is impossible. Three months ago I started praying fervently for God to move the other woman to another state. I found out from my husband that the other woman moved to another state. Praise God." (Washington)
“Some years ago the Lord led me to your site. It is through your work in helping those of us who are walking through the dark valleys in our lives that you have encouraged me to continue this stand for my marriage. I just want to thank you and encourage others to stand firm and keep your eyes on our Lord, because through Him and those He brings into our lives, we will make it though and reach our mountain tops.” (Ohio)
“I prayed for a sign to continue my stand although we are now divorced. I was feeling like I needed strength to continue my stand or to end it. As I was driving down the interstate I looked to my left and there it was, a Covenant Transport truck, I knew I had to continue on. God still speaks, but are we listening?” (Texas)
"My husband returned home to our family the week before Christmas! We are communicating well, attending church together, and building our family back! My husband is way more helpful around the house, more hands-on with our girls, and so positive and happy! I am thanking God for His faithfulness! I am also thanking Rejoice Marriage Ministries for the peace and encouragement I received from the daily devotionals, CD's and books! Keep standing...God does want to restore your marriage." (Texas)
"God has worked mightily in my life since my stand for marriage restoration. There has been much healing in my life and relationship with my absent spouse. I received an email from husband telling me how he believes the Holy Spirit is working in our lives." (North Carolina)
“The past week I have been on an emotional roller coaster. I began to feel that my stand was in vain. I began to think about how David felt in Psalm 73 and how Habakkuk vented his feelings. On the way to work I began to vent my frustration to the Lord and out of nowhere a Covenant Transport truck drove right pass me. I began to cry and thank God for His faithfulness. I know now that that my stand is not in vain. Despite how it may seem, I know God is in control.” (Georgia)
"Praise the Lord, another Christmas miracle. My prodigal not only came to midnight services on Christmas Eve, but she also came to the house on Christmas morning. We opened gifts with our sons and my wife gave me a gift. I am grateful I was moved by the Holy Spirit to give her a gift as well. Thank You, God that we got to spend a little time together as a family." (Illinois)
"Once again I am awed at God's goodness. Bob's devotional about home answered my silent and questioning prayer from a few days ago. Last night I finally went to the evening prayer meeting at church and was blessed beyond measure, just worshiping our Lord." (New Zealand)
"I had requested prayer about a court date. I wanted us to be in harmony. While waiting for other cases, with the help of the attorneys we agreed on everything. The judge was pleased and complimented us. I saved a seat next to me in the court and when my husband arrived, he sat right next to me. We were relaxed and the Holy Spirit was definitely there. I even got an unsolicited hug the next day. Good is wonderful. " (Louisiana)
“While my husband was home visiting with our kids, one of our children played with my camera and broke it. I was so upset, but I quietly went to the bedroom to talk to Jesus about it. Shortly after coming back into the living room my husband said that he needed to run an errand and would be back shortly. While he was gone I took the time to spend in prayer. The Lord spoke to my spirit that he had gone to buy me a camera. I just laughed out loud. When he returned he came in with the sweetest smile and a new camera! I cried when he gave me the camera. He just told me not to cry, and that he knew I was upset over my other camera being broken. This proves that I hear clearly from the Lord, and that my husband’s heart is beginning to soften. This may seem small to some, but at one time my husband’s heart was so hard that this is enormous to me. Praise the Holy name of Jesus!” (Tennessee)
"Let heaven and earth praise Him, the seas and everything that moves in them." Psalm 69:34
“Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.” Isaiah 58:12
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13
“I want to give our Lord praise and thanks for all the little blessings He has given me. I have not heard from my husband for many months. My son took off on a trip to Europe. Today my husband sent me a text asking if I had heard from our son. It's a small thing, but coming from someone who told me he never wanted to communicate with me again - it can only be God working on him. PTL!” (Washington)
"Ever since we have broken up, I have written letters to my husband expressing my love. Most all the letters were written either on the 10th or 20th of the month. I asked God to open my eyes to what He wants me to see. I googled 6:10-20 and Ephesians popped up about the Armor of God. I have been praying this over him for some time. God is good." (Canada)
“Soon after our marriage, my spouse said he was in love with someone else, moved out of our home and stopped attending church and defied everyone. The Lord sustained me throughout and gave me words from Jeremiah 42 10-18. Every one said I should move on but then I found RMM. The Lord surprised me. After six months of no recent contact, my prodigal came home and we talked, although he is still with the other person. I went back to God asking if it was His will. Reading the testimonies this morning has yet again strengthened my faith that God is able, and unchanging. I believe my husband is on his way back home; the Lord is working on me too. Thank God for RMM Ministries.” (Great Britain)
"I was sad because I was going to have to sell my engagement and wedding rings to pay for my part of the divorce. I asked the Lord if there was any other way to pay this without selling my rings. Two days later my prodigal called to say we received a tax return, which we were ordered to split. It even paid the remaining balance of my lawyer's bill. Praise God. What provision and a sign from Heaven to keep standing. Though it looks grim I have no doubt from God that my prodigal is coming home." (Michigan)

"God has changed me so much. I fell but got back up and am expecting my Jesus to bring my husband home very soon. Finding your Ministry has encouraged me. I now pray daily for prodigals to come home." (Arizona)
“When my husband first left, I was feeling so bad that I didn't want to continue living. But then I came to the Lord and now I have peace and tranquility, thanks to God. In this time I have learned to love and value my husband with all my heart. I feel new, cleaner and renewed. Every night I pray for my precious husband and for the whole family. I have noticed small miracles in my husband. Thank You Lord, that you hate divorce and love families. I know that my family is under your protection. I will continue waiting for the return of my husband. Meanwhile transform me into the woman, daughter, wife and mother worthy of You” (Ecuador)
“I was in prayer yesterday and telling Jesus how I wanted to talk to someone from Rejoice because they understand this stand I have taken. Within a short time my phone rang and the caller ID said ‘Rejoice Ministries!’ What an encouragement that God gives you every desire of your heart. The caller listened to me, encouraged me, and we prayed. Thank you so much! The phone ringing was all the encouragement I needed. I am watching for my suddenly at any moment now. Merry Christmas from our family with much love and prayers.” (Tennessee)
"I have heard Charlyne say many times, 'God will be your spouse in this season,' but I never understood what it meant. This past Christmas God revealed that He indeed has been my husband, doing all the things my spouse would be doing if he were here. That was a big moment for me and allowed me to trust Him even more." (Georgia)
“I have been praying for the restoration of both of my daughters' marriages. Last year, the OW left one of my sons-in-law. This year the OM, in one of my daughters' lives, decided to move to another country. His parents are forbidding him to marry my daughter, and he is listening to their advice. I have four young people to pray for. God has removed two non-covenant relationships so far. I know he will remove the rest.” (British Columbia)
"I attended a funeral yesterday. This man was divorced and remarried and although the first wife was handled delicately, it was a painful reminder of why I am standing. I do not want my children to have to go through their father's funeral with the other woman as the focus. Praise God for strength to stand for the past years and for these godly reminders." (Colorado)
