"I attended church this past Sunday with my wife and daughter for the first time since we separated. It was at her request. God is so gracious to give me a glimpse of His working in her life. He is also doing much work in mine as well. Then one day turned into two days as I was invited to stay in the spare bedroom and that day was just the two of us. I see more of God's plan and am energized in the stand for my marriage. Praise to God and my gratitude to Rejoice Marriage Ministries." (Louisiana)


"My husband came home suddenly after several years of standing. We were back together for a year when my husband got sick suddenly and died a month later. It was all unexpected, but God brought him back home as he promised us all and I was able to take care of him while he was sick. I thank God for his last year at home with his family." (New York)


“God has protected me, my child and my home from Hurricane Sandy. I live in an area that was hit pretty hard and the hurricane caused lots of damage and loss of power. The schools have been canceled all week due to dangerous road conditions from fallen trees and downed power lines. I spoke the Word to the wind during the storm - peace, be still in Jesus name. In a town where 70% of homes lost power, praise God I never lost power and my property was protected from damage. Trust God, even though you may be going through so many storms and circumstances, He will bring you through. He is faithful. Praise Him in the storm! Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus!”  (Connecticut)


“Praise God for speaking to us! Through much prayer and meditation, the Lord gave me rhema words that I know can touch other standers:Look up, look around and watch. All of your people assemble and come to you. Your sons come from far away. Your daughters are carried in their arms. Then you will see this and rejoice. Your heart will be filled with joy, because the riches of the sea will be brought to you. The wealth of the nations will come to you.’Isaiah 60:4-5. He will bring our prodigals home from far away and we will be filled with joy as our blessings reach us! The LORD has been healing mine and my prodigal's pasts through this time of separation, and He gave me this Word:Godless and evil people will no longer come to you. Shake the dust from yourselves. Get up! Free yourself from the chains around your neck.’ Isaiah 52:2 Let us stand together for the spiritual deliverance and return of our lost sheep until God brings them home. "After standing and praying for our marriage for more than a year, I received a phone call from my wife saying she wants to see me. I was thrilled. In our time of separation this is the first phone call we talked about us instead of our children. Praise God. He is working on bringing down our mountain." (Minnesota)

"After I started standing I learned about another stander in my church. For some time I've been praying for at least a dozen prodigal marriages besides my own, including this one. Recently I asked the Lord to show me He answers prayers that I pray. This week I was excited to learn that this couple is now back under the same roof after years apart. God is about to be glorified in our church in an amazing way." (Illinois)


"As a court date for custody approached, a thought kept coming to me to clean closets and dressers to make room for my husband. I wondered if that was just me or if God was telling me to get ready. God confirmed that my husband will be home soon. I have messed up many times along the way, but God covered all my mistakes and helped me walk by faith." (Virginia)


"I am praising God and rejoicing in what my God is doing. My husband invited me to the movies and he told me that he is testing the waters. He even made future plans to take our granddaughter to the movies. I definitely see God softening his heart. I had tried everything in my own strength and came up empty. Now I am trying to trust God and allow Him to do the work in my husband’s heart. My God will fight for me. I have to keep reminding myself to just keep quiet. "A couple in my community invited me for a prayer hour for the healing of my marriage. The man had asked God to give him something and the Lord gave him the story of the bleeding woman from Mark 5. I was so surprised as I heard the same story, this time from Luke 8, the day before in the spoken message from Charlyne, ‘Reaching for Jesus’. Thank You so much Lord. 'Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow. Great is Thy faithfulness!'"  (Belgium)

“By the grace of God, I have been standing for several years. In the beginning my husband was an in-house prodigal. His eventual departure from our home was a difficult season for my daughter and I. But I must testify of God's faithfulness to me and my family through the years. God has and continues on a daily basis to provide all of our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. God has used this time to work on me and to fortify my faith in Him. I am seeing such a love and devotion for Jesus in my daughter and we are able to love our prodigal unconditionally. "Two weeks ago I visited my husband. He said that we were going to split things. When I got there and he said he could not get up, he was so nervous. He pulled me to him and hugged me. Tears streamed down both our cheeks! It was amazing! He said he doesn't want a divorce! God changed his heart. Since then he has read his Bible daily and makes sure that he tells me that he loves me. Now he wants to find a job by our house so he can come home. Thanks for all of the prayers!"  (Minnesota) 


“Tonight I was watching a movie that talked about how a three strand cord is not easily broken and how God needs to be that third strand that holds your marriage together. God spoke to me through this and I realized that God never intended my husband and I to be completely broken apart, as He is that third strand. At the end of the movie, it is said that sometimes God allows everything to be turned upside down so that we can learn to live right side up. God truly spoke to me tonight telling me that we are going be all right. Our marriage isn't dead, just turned upside down. I have such peace today. The enemy is NOT allowed here ever again! Praise your Creator! Let Him be that third strand and you will be right side up in no time! God is awesome.” (Colorado)


"Last Monday the divorce dismissal was signed. My husband, though still out of our home, spent most of the weekend with us. He came to church with us on Sunday and the church body welcomed him back. Next week will be three years that my husband has been gone, but I never gave up the hope of Jeremiah 32:27 for our marriage; 'Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; Is there anything too hard for Me?' God continues to work His miracles." (California) 


For the past couple of weeks, I had been just sad. I missed my husband and with the Christmas season, it made it double hard to get into the spirit or just be simply happy. On Sunday morning my husband came over to my place early in the morning to apologize for what he had done to our marriage and asked for my forgiveness. And although we still are not together, at least I know that God is working on him. Since that day we have been able to talk peaceably and be friends again. This gave me a boost of joy! “I needed some work done around my home last month, and did not have the money. My prodigal,(we are divorced), offered to loan me the money, out of my spousal support for next month. I was concerned that it would affect my budget for next month, due to my financial situation, but I took the money anyway, and made the repair. This month, my prodigal gave me the full amount of spousal support. My daughter recently told me that my prodigal told her that he will always look out for us. During this past week, I have also seen four Swift trucks, one United Truck, ‘Mark 9:23’ on the same license plate, ‘God's Favor’ on a license plate, and the name of my husband’s job on a license plate, five times. WOW! is God speaking to ME? I'm keeping a record of all the signs that God is sending me. I have not spoken to my prodigal lately, but God is letting me know that my prodigal is thinking of me. “This Mother’s Day is special as I now know why my mum stood for her marriage of 20 years. Then, we thought she was a prayer fanatic. Dad always said he regretted leaving his family. The other woman suddenly died. Dad had terminal illness and mum nursed and prayed for him till death. In dad's illness he had amnesia and did not recall leaving mum. In his mind, he never left home. Last year when I began standing, mum said its time to grow and drink water from the desert rock. (Isaiah 48:21). I told her it was called ‘standing’ when I found RMM. She liked it and said ‘stand still in the Jordan with the covenant ark.’ Mum helps standers at her church in Zimbabwe. PTL for models like Charlyne and mum.”  (United Kingdom)

“My suddenly happened! I received a call from my hubby asking if I could have company. We began to talk and I looked up and he had his wedding ring on. I almost burst out in tears. I was so surprised and shocked! One day lead to another and Sunday we went to praise the Lord. It was awesome. Later he said he didn’t want to go back! GOD HEARS..GOD KNOWS..GOD CARES! We were separated for many months. We were separated before for a while and he came back and stayed for some months. It was a false start but this time is a NEW START for us because GOD makes all things NEW. God can and will restore your marriage. Just believe, pray, fast, and be a doer of His Word. People came against me but I stood alone with God. He rewarded and delivered His promise. I will continue to trust God and COUNT IT ALL JOY.”  (Missouri)

"Praise The Lord, my prodigal husband called to ask to pick up our daughter and keep her for the weekend and take her shopping for her birthday. My husband has not called me in months, but called several times yesterday. I will continue to fast and pray. Our children and our future grandchildren are depending on my stand for righteousness." “Before marrying my husband many years ago, the popular thing to do was to make a list of the things you desired in a spouse, then pray that God would send that person to you. The other day I remembered my list, which I hadn't seen or even thought of in many years and asked the Lord if He could somehow make it surface. Later I was cleaning out a bin that contained children's school papers and other paperwork. In the bin was a grocery bag full of greeting cards we'd received for our wedding and my list was in the bag, too! God loves to answer our prayers and then some!”  (Florida)

“I was hesitant to share as it seemed every time I did things would get worse. But honestly, God was doing major work behind the scenes. I recently had a false start home by my husband that I thought would take me out. BUT GOD. I thought the process was over but it was really just beginning. I needed to completely let go and stop trying to help God who had everything under control. Through many tears and pain God has continued to carry me. Recently my beloved called to say that he was sorry for not keeping his vows to me and for any heartache and pain he may have caused. That was huge! God's timing is not ours but it’s always the best. “My husband called this morning and said, ‘Come visit me.’ My dear godly father called to say ‘Go’ and offered to pay for the airline ticket and assure me he continues to pray. All of our children are very excited I am going. I was supposed to go last week, but didn't. It was good I was home as my brother passed away suddenly. I have marvelous support here and my children also were upset and needed me. God's timing is perfect. When I couldn't pray anymore, I laid my husband at the foot of the cross. God has heard me and answered. I want to encourage other standers to stand in the gap, pray and never give up. God's reward is worth all the pain and tears.”  (Canada) 


"I work third shift in a convenience store so that I can be home during the day to care for my mother. I'm allowed to play any radio station I want, so as soon as I come in, I put on Christian radio. Early Monday morning, I was robbed. No weapon was pulled and it was over quickly. As the guy was leaving in his car, I was able to get the tag number and the police had him in custody within an hour. I am praising God that He kept me safe and not afraid to go back to work." (Virginia)


“God truly speaks. I cried out to Him and He heard. It’s been so many years, but still my heart says keep praying and believing. I have moments when doubt creeps in, but God is so faithful. My father was recently killed in a car wreck. My prodigal did not come home for the funeral, but he told me he loved me. (Romans 8:28) Yesterday I prayed really hard for the Lord to confirm my stand. While going through books I opened a devotional book and the page was titled ‘Covenant Marriage.’ Then I saw my Covenant Transport truck while having supper tonight! God is working. Thanks for the encouragement, Lord. I stand on Hosea 11:11 - I will bring them home again…it is a promise from the Lord.”  (Georgia)

"Even though we are divorced, my husband still contacts me and visits. Yesterday was our anniversary. I prayed that he would think about the fact that it was our anniversary. I just can't describe the joy in my heart after the long storm, but for the work God did in me and in my husband I would not trade for anything. “I hadn’t seen my husband for a long time. God was preparing me but I did not know this. His father passed away and my two children and I went to be with the family. My husband was there and I can say that Jesus was with me. I was able to tell him that I pray for him and forgive him every day and for the OW too. He did not react but I could see the pain in him. He would not look at me in the face. The enemy has stolen what God gave me so long ago. But God! I feel free because I was able to tell him in person. God gave me Isaiah 54: 4-7 and He has been my husband for this season. God has supplied and will always supply. My husband has said many lies, but God will redeem him because I forgave and he knew God a long time ago. It's for a season; I know God will heal him in His time.
