"This year I told our family I only wanted prayers for my prodigal husband, no gifts for Christmas. He not only spent time with all our family, but also a little time with just me. “Last night we were having a storm so I'd kept the TV on the Weather Channel while I was cleaning house. In my mind I heard ‘go turn the Channel to Channel 3,’ the local Christian Channel. There was a pastor speaking a message of encouragement to ‘the woman who has been praying for years that her husband would come home. Continue in your prayers because God is sending him home.’" (Georgia)
“Early on in my stand, when I still didn't know what standing was, I visited a church and the guest speaker asked me to step out of my seat and come to the altar. Without me speaking or him knowing anything about my life, this man told me that my marriage would be restored and that we would not get divorced, that the Lord would not allow it to come to pass. Almost two years later, my divorce is still pending. My faith is being tested in the fire. A couple of Fridays ago as I cried out desperately to the Lord, He led me to Isaiah 7:7 ‘It will not take place; It will not happen.’ I asked the Lord if He was confirming the Word He gave me early in my stand. I even sent a text message to another stander texting her this verse God had led me to. The next day I got a text message from this stander saying, ‘God has a sense of humor. Check out the Saturday testimonies from Rejoice. Someone quoted Isaiah 7:7.’ Praise the Lord! He does speak!” (Florida)

(New Jersey) (A PS from Pompano - This brief testimony should be a wake-up call for each of us who have a spouse within earshot to use those three magic words much more often. "My husband served me with divorce papers the day after our anniversary. The next day he returned to the city he lives in. He told me that he presented them to the OW in hopes that she would resume her relationship with him. She didn't. He has been in daily communication with me and has turned to God because of his desire for the relationship with the OW. The Lord has been faithful to me and has helped me to forgive my husband and the OW and focus on what He is doing in my husband's life. He is answering my prayers. He has removed the OW, my husband is seeking Him (regardless of the reason or circumstance) and he has started going to church, praying and reading the Word of God. He has even said that he wants our family to move to the city he is currently living in. The effectual fervent prayers of the righteous man availeth much.James 5:16 (KJV). “At the end of the summer my husband moved us into a home near his work. He had been gone for nearly three years before restoration. Though I was reluctant to leave the area where we lived for many years, God in his goodness has supplied much Christian fellowship and many friends in a short time. Restoration is happening all through our family between four generations. Miracles do happen and God is rebuilding our family on the Rock of Jesus Christ. Praise be to God! "Last week our family pet grew very ill. Unfortunately, I had to have our beloved pet put to sleep. I called my spouse from the animal hospital to tell him what had happened. We cried together. When I arrived home I had multiple email from my spouse, each one with a photo of me and our pet over her life. I give God the glory for allowing my spouse to remember the photos and for putting it on his mind to send them to comfort me." (Ohio)

“Praise the Lord God is moving. My husband was pushing this divorce and had a court date set before he told me. He was anxious to be done with it, but God moved somehow. Now he is holding it up. When we spoke a few weeks ago he asked if anything else would hinder it; before I thought, I answered it is in God's hands now. He may still answer, but to God be the glory for the delay! “I see Covenant Transport trucks quite often in my area so the excitement of them has worn off. I travel two highways to and from work but have NEVER seen the trucks on the shorter highway I travel. I prayed to see a truck on the second less traveled highway. NOTHING! I have been unhappy at work and am actively seeking a job closer to home. I wrote a supplication to God and asked for a job at a place I applied to SEVEN times and never got a call back. I got an email from the HR Department of that company asking me to call for an interview. They sent it on FRIDAY before I asked God! They are now considering me for TWO positions! It’s a 5 minute walk instead of the 90 minute drive each way to work! Oh yeah, and I saw that Covenant Transport truck which on the shorter highway! THANK YOU GOD!” (Maryland)

“My stand was being discouraged by my family, so this week I asked God to show me one more time if I was to continue my stand. Yesterday, I realized that there was a missed call from an auto company on my cell phone. I immediately thought of my husband. I told God if this call was for my husband then it meant that I will continue to stand. A message had been left for my husband to call a number back. I was excited and confused at the same time. Why would my husband give my cell phone number as the contact for his car application? I texted him the message and number and received a text from him asking me to call. When I called him, my husband told me that he never applied for a car but he missed me and wanted to see me. He came over to our home that night and gave me a big hug. In our talk, he said ‘I don't think I will make it to Heaven, I feel so far from God.’ Immediately I knew God had called me to stand for my husband. “It is rare to see Covenant Transport trucks in my area, but today while driving, I spoke to God and asked for a sign - more specifically to see a Covenant Transport truck to let me know He is working on moving mountains and restoring our marriage. Within minutes, one drove by. I also turned on the Gospel station to hear the song ‘Hold On.' God is wonderful and He is certainly letting me know that restoration is coming our way. We all need to continue to stand and trust in the Lord. We may not always see what we want to see, when we want to see it, but believe He is working miracles behind the scene. PTL!
