"I asked God to reveal the meaning of waiting for restoration of our marriage, and what I am supposed to do while waiting. Then I opened my Bible to Isaiah 40:3,5: 'Make straight/prepare in the desert a highway for our God...The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.' The Word of God is so full of treasures hidden in dark places." (Norway)

“God restored our marriage last fall after my husband had been gone nearly three years. Two days before Christmas he left again and returned after Christmas. No one outside the family knows he was gone for the holidays which is a wonderful blessing as we are able to carry on as usual without questions. I am learning not to react to situations and the ups and downs of my husband but to hold a steady course. God is changing me and I continue to pray for a Damascus Road experience for my husband. God is good. Do not give up but keep on keeping on!”  (Canada)

"God is faithful! Two weeks after my spouse came back to God, he then came back to me. Repentance and restoration! Don't give up; it's worth it all."  (Missouri)

"Last week my prodigal traveled many hours by car to visit me and our daughter. I made him feel welcome and we did not argue the whole week. He even stayed for his birthday saying he would spend it with his family. Since we separated, he has never offered any financial help and I had prayed to my God what to do. I felt God telling me not to mention it. Before my prodigal left, he handed me post dated checks. I trust God will restore our relationship in His time." (Canada)

“Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.” Proverbs 30:5

"Praise the Lord. My husband took our daughter with him for all the holidays. He wanted her with him Christmas Eve. He knows that is my very special holiday. I was sick with fears and anxiety. Christmas Eve my husband told me our daughter could be with me. I know that was the Holy Spirit. God can." (Florida)

"My prodigal husband accepted my invitation to go to church with me and our children on Mother’s Day. Rather than having a Mother's Day message, the pastor spoke about making yourself well, making the choice, and then taking up your mat and walking. Then after church my husband took us to lunch. He told me that he and the other woman had broken up because he went to church with me. Praise the Lord. It was the best Mother's Day gift." (Oklahoma)

“My beloved started to come every weekend around Thanksgiving. He has backed away again but I know he is not as happy as he tries to convince everyone that he is. He still calls our daughter often and the last weekend he was here, he helped me recover from a hospital stay. The Lord is working behind the mountain! The Lord has blessed me with finances and I was able to help several other families for the holidays with finances and meals.”  (Florida)

“I placed my husband on the prayer list for healing of lung and liver disease. A biopsy had confirmed the liver disease. The doctor wanted to put him on an aggressive treatment plan that suppresses the immune system. I felt in my spirit he should not take this treatment as it was risky because of the lung disease. He went for his final visit to the doctor this week and the doctor told us that when doing the surgery, he examined the liver and found it healthy. What a mighty God to heal an incurable disease. Nothing is impossible with God.”  (California)

"Our pastor, who never preaches on marriage, said he had a short sermon. It was that God was moving very soon to restore marriages and bring separated spouses back together. Praise God, I received those words." (Texas)

“I was so encouraged to see some long-standing testimonies, as I have been standing for many years. By God's grace I have never wavered to wait, and my stand has just gotten stronger. Yes, I’ve been disheartened at times with all that brings, but knowing I'm in the center of His will is enough. I know it will happen. Be encouraged, all you who hope in the Lord! God bless all of you standers and especially Charlyne who was born ‘for such a time as this!’” (Texas)

“After many months of separation, disappointed about my stand because I didn't see any progress on my marriage restoration, and hearing about the lifestyle of my husband, I talked to him about divorce and asked him to bring me the documents to start the process the next day (not really what I wanted in my heart). He didn't come, so I started to fast and cried out to the Lord and asked Him to show me His will and soften our hearts. The next day I received some text messages from my husband asking for forgiveness. I know for sure that God is preparing the way for my marriage restoration and for my husband to go back to the Lord. I thank God for His tender love and know He always answers our prayers.”  (Dominican Republic)

“I have been standing off and on since my wife left me. I have not seen her at all for quite some time. I would send texts for holidays to which I would not even get a reply. This past Thanksgiving was different. She said I was crazy for waiting for her but she liked it. She texted me (suddenly) and out of the blue to tell me she was going to go to a church. Over the last several days we have been talking every night and the Lord has opened this door. The healing is beginning. Thank You Jesus. My stand is not perfect. I have fallen and gotten skinned up. I threw in the towel a couple times, yet leaped to catch that towel in mid-flight. Thank You to the strong brothers and sisters encouraging me and praying for us. This is the strength of the Lord, not mine. Thank You Lord.”  (California)

"Today I asked my prodigal to have Thanksgiving dinner with me. He said no. I accepted the answer but did tell him that he is my husband and that I loved him. I walked away, did not shed a tear or show him any anger, only love. I was so upset inside and as I drove to my Bible study I cried. I asked God to tell me again why I'm standing when it hurts so much and He said, 'Because I love all my prodigals and want them all to know Me.' God is so good." (California)

“My husband asked if I would be going on a trip with our daughter's school. He wants to take days off to attend and asked if we could ride together. He left the hotel reservations up to me. Praise God! He has turned my husband's heart of stone to a heart of flesh. I have been standing for years and have always been kind and loving towards him. I am thanking God in advance for directing my path on this trip. Never stop standing. Never stop praying.”  (Texas)

"I told the Lord what I wished for my birthday was a call from my covenant husband. This is something that has never occurred. I jokingly said to myself, 'Well, he didn't call' at the end of the day. The next day my daughter told me that her father had called her phone by mistake the night of my birthday to tell me happy birthday, and he asked her to please tell me that he called. A complete and total miracle. There is no other word for it."  (Mississippi)

Mark 9:23 (NLT) “What do you mean,’ If I can?’Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.'Yesterday on my way home I felt my stand is taking too long, I am going to tell my husband to just get the divorce over and done with. At the red light I saw a bumper sticker ‘Mark 9:23.’ I quickly grabbed my phone, searched in the Bible to read it. In my hurry I found verse 32 and it didn't make sense. At home I got out of my car and heard a voice talking. There was no one except me and realized I must have pressed the speech button on my phone. The Bible application was still open but somehow it was not on Mark 9 anymore but on Mark 10 (NLT)‘But God made them male and female from the beginning of creation. This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.’  (South Africa)

"I found this ministry years ago and began to stand. I read every book and listened to every tape and was encouraged. I gave up, divorced my husband and he married the other woman. But God is so faithful. Last year, the Lord spoke and said you want your husband back. I said no, but began to pray. Through prayer and reconnecting with this ministry, I've begun to stand again. My husband is now separated from his second wife, spending time with me and the kids, back in church. God is faithful." (New York)

“Praise the Lord, I submitted my testimony of thanksgiving to God the day before Valentine’s about how the Lord has sustained me in this separation period. I kept my faith and trust in the Lord. My Lord led my husband to send a text message to me wishing me a happy Valentine’s Day. This is truly a miracle as my husband neither communicated during Christmas nor New Year’s holidays. I am so grateful to God for He is truly moving my husband's heart and working on the other side of the mountain. Dear standers, hold on to our Lord, He will never let us down.”  (Kenya)

“I have always been skeptical about Covenant Transport truck testimonies. But deep down I always wondered how I would react if I saw one. So for almost a year I would just glance at truck names while driving. Last month I came across Psalm 86:17, and I felt God speaking to me. So I asked for a sign. The next week, for the first time ever I saw a Covenant Transport truck. I asked, ‘Lord, is this You talking?’ Another truck drove by me that had the name ‘Alfa & Omega.’ So the Lord has spoken!”  (California)

“PTL! I needed some repairs done to my car and my husband responded right away he would do them. He is two hours away. He did the work and I even helped and got to spend time with him. As he was getting ready to leave I had a gift I had bought for him for our anniversary a few weeks ago and gave it to him. He hugged me. He has not done that in over a year. Also on my way to work the day after he left, I passed by a truck and on the back it said ‘Fear not.’ This has been good this week. It has been many years since all of this started. Thank the Lord He is faithful. Never give up on your spouse.”  (Illinois)

"God has put everything in order in His perfect time. I am so thankful for the victories I have experienced in my stand. In this year I have seen God answer so many of my prayers. God has opened lines of communication with my husband; we speak daily and go on dates. God has restored my relationship with my in-laws and my husband's relationship with my family. God has healed my heart to forgive the OW and love the non-covenant child he had with her. My student loan debt was lowered. I paid it and I'm opening my business. I thank God in advance for my husband's return home for I know it's near!”  (Florida)

"I have been asking for a sign from God that my prodigal still loves me, and last night he invited me to lunch. We went to lunch today and afterwards he hugged and kissed me before I left. Thank You, God for confirming that standing is the right thing to do."  (Texas)

"Last week my husband came for his weekly visit to see the children. He had decided that he would go to church with us. After the service, he asked if he could come again with us the following week. This week he did something that made my heart swell. At the end of the service, my pastor reminded us to live our lives as the Lord wants us to so that when we come face to face with Him, we are happy to see Him and not fearful because of what we were doing in the world. At that moment my husband grabbed my hand and touched my ring. Praise the Lord." (New Jersey)

"Almost a year after the divorce, we are still living in the same house. I forget how blessed I am by God with this situation. God is faithful." (New Jersey)

The LORD upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.  Psalm 145:14-16

"Praise God, in a few days, my husband is flying half way around the world to come visit. This is a miracle as we are divorced and I moved to Australia. My husband wasn't even talking to me before that. May the Lord bless the time that my husband is here." (Australia)

“The Lord revealed to me that His Word would complete what it was set out to do. I prayed Hosea 2:6-7 over my beloved, over and over this weekend. When the enemy would give me thoughts of doubt, the Lord would remind me that He does not change His mind. He reminded me that my husband's body is not Satan’s but is the Lord's and mine. As instructed, I prayed with authority, and bound up the enemy. I poured the blood of Jesus over him. The Lord has allowed us to stay in the same home, although we sleep in separate beds. Today he returns from his trip. I know the Lord has been faithful, and that reconciliation is near, for He told me, ‘The days are coming.’ Amen, and praise the Lord.”  (Florida)

"I cried out to God to give me a glimpse of the work I know He is doing on the other side of the mountain. My wife called me and admitted she was having a tough time. Later I flipped open my Bible to Jesus' prayer that we may be one (John 17:17-21). On Monday when I opened my email, both Charlyne Cares and Standing Firm devotionals used that exact reference. Thank you God for You are good." (Canada)

“There have been days when all I could pray is, ‘God, help!’ I have been ready to give up so many times I've lost count, but God... On  days when I just can't hang on, He intervenes. This week on a hard day I opened my mail box and found a package from RMM, a CD titled, What Am I To Do? Just Stand! Why it arrived on that day only God could orchestrate something like that. My husband has also suddenly become very compassionate and caring. There is no doubt God hears our cries for help when there is nothing else we can say.‘In my distress I called upon the LORD, And cried to my God for help; He heard my voice out of His temple, And my cry for help before Him came into His ears.’ Psalm 18:6.”  (California)

"My husband and I are separated. I have been noticing a change in my spouse's attitude toward me. He's been spending more time talking to me and helping out doing things around the house. I am praising God in advance for working everything out." (Pennsylvania)

“I fasted during the week before Easter asking God to help me and to send me a sign for encouragement. During Easter service the pastor said, ‘If God defeated death, there is nothing that He can't do or breathe life into.’ While looking for a different song, I found one calledGod Restores! This was my encouragement! I wanted to share this song with all of the standers as it really blessed and encouraged me on this very difficult day.”  (California)

“I have been told that my job has been extended for an additional month. This is a praise report because despite my 'strained' financial situation, I was determined I will trust God and not put my hope in 'man.' A few months before, my colleagues were preparing for my departure, but God has other plans.”  (United Kingdom)

"Trying to budget for school supplies is sometimes a challenge. Since our son is one of God's special children he won't be using all the supplies the other children will use. God also seems to have kept last year's supplies in very good condition. This means I will have very little to buy for the new school year. Praise God." (Idaho)

The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.  Psalm 25:14

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.  I Peter 3:9

“Seeing God work is so amazing, there are no coincidences with God. Charlyne asked once in a devotional how did you find RMM? When I think that I found a RMM tract tucked away in a drawer just when I needed it, all I can say is that God is amazing. Every time I try to give up on standing for my marriage I hear from the LORD through His Word, and when I see my small prayers answered I praise my LORD. I have committed to memorizing more of God's Word this year and I have started with Habakkuk 3:17-18, 'Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD,I will be joyful in God my Savior.'God is good always, in all ways God is good.”  (California)

"Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." Ephesians 5:1

"I have been standing for many months and my husband came home this week. There had been no sign of his return. God revealed Himself through answered prayers in a mighty way. My husband came home out of obligation more than love, just as God prepared me. The road ahead will be long as my husband mourns the break- up with the other woman but things are going exactly as God showed me they would. I know He is in control. We serve an awesome God." (Illinois)

"Our air conditioner went out and like most standers, we are already in dire financial straits. The Lord led me to call my husband, who is living across the country, and let him know. He has not sent any financial help and I have not asked for any previously. He immediately said that he would transfer the money to cover the repair into my account. My daughter and I are praising God that he is hearing from God on his responsibility as our provider." (Texas)

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:28-29

"I am the one who hurt my husband. We are friends even though we are divorced. I will continue to put my faith in the Lord, and wait for my husband to come back. I let my husband know all the time how much I love him and how sorry I am." (Florida)

"My husband and I were headed for divorce. He was addicted to alcohol and I kept praying for him. The Lord spoke to me about my marriage and told me to give my whole marriage to Him and to clean out my home. I now realize that my home has been a breeding ground of unholy things. We had things that were not of Him in our home. Now I submit everything to Him." (Arizona)

“Our God is truly amazing. Last night I cried out to Him to show me what He wanted me to do, whether I was to wait for my husband or not. Today God miraculously answered me. I took the bus home and they were showing the movie 'Fireproof.' I got off the bus at my stop feeling rejuvenated, revived and refreshed in my stand. Thank You Lord for showing me that my marriage is worth fighting for and saving.”  (Jamaica)

“What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do.”  Isaiah 46:11b

“PTL for signs during this fiery trial! I was feeling so weary in my stand. My separated prodigal called to tell me he made up his mind and wants a divorce. I asked God if I should continue to stand and ‘flipped’ open my bible to 2 Chronicles 9:7- "How happy your men must be! How happy your officials who CONTINUALLY STAND before you and hear your wisdom!"Continue to stand I will! A few days later his heart was softer. He has told me that he does not 'feel good' about his choice to divorce. Thank You God for continually encouraging me through this storm. I know my ‘suddenly’ is soon!”  (Arizona)

"My prodigal spouse called me after no contact for months. We have been talking each day and he is talking about the restoration of our marriage, even though he filed for divorce a month ago. For the first time in over a year he went to church Sunday. God is going to complete the good work He began in my husband’s heart." (California)

“Praise be to Jesus. God is so faithful. He has delivered my beloved and I from the chains of the devil. He confirmed it and a few days later things started to fall in place-physical manifestations of our deliverance. God has turned his heart back to his real family. My suddenly moment is around the corner and I testify now that my marriage is restored. I see and behold beauty for ashes, gladness and dancing for mourning. Glory to God.”  (Uganda)

"Praise the Lord Jesus. I recently answered my Masters' level exams, and had no hope in passing because I had already failed the assignment part of the module. The devil attacked me constantly during my study period by putting negative thoughts in my mind and by using my husband to distract me by saying that he has decided to go with the other woman. I prayed to Jesus. I told the Lord that I was putting my exams in His hands. Jesus gave me a miracle. I not only passed in that module, but actually got a first class mark. I know He will also restore my marriage." (United Kingdom)

"My spouse sent me a surprise plant arrangement for Valentine's Day from halfway around the world." (North Carolina)
