"I have been standing for over seven years, and at the beginning of my stand I was driving home one evening crying asking God, 'Will he be home by Christmas?' At that moment, I saw a shooting star. God has shown me stars many times as encouragement, during my stand; on the sides of trucks, billboards, in songs etc. Last night when I talked to my husband, he talked about working things out to be able to come back home, this week before Christmas. I cried tears of joy at God's amazing faithfulness, love, and the power of prayer. Praise to our Lord!" (Minnesota)
“I want to praise the Lord today. Our court for finalization of divorce did not go through. The judge could not sign or approve the decree. God is so good and merciful. Steadfast dear standers.” (Texas)

"I read your book 'The Saved Seat' in one day. It was such a blessing. I cried through it because I save a seat for my spouse in church. He did come one Sunday for our granddaughter’s dedication. I know God will bring my spouse back to church, Himself and our marriage. God is Faithful. Thank you for writing such an encouraging book." (Pennsylvania)

"When I wanted to give up you kept telling me to look to the One with all the answers. God is changing me and He is changing my husband. To God be all the glory." (Virginia)
“Today the Lord has acted. I was able to defend the name of God. The Lord has blessed me with favor and has given me strength to live up to His Name and follow His Word, day by day. I am filled with His Spirit. Blessed be our Lord, Lord of my life, Lord and Master of my husband's life. The Lord in His infinite mercy, will fulfill His promise to my husband. Psalm 51:10 (KJV)Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Honor and Glory to You our Lord.” (Spain)
You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:7
"My husband and I have been apart for several months with little contact. Every day I pray the Blood over him. I tell him that I am standing and believing for him to come home. He just looks at me and says if that is what I believe. Praise God, my husband is agreeing with me and he doesn't even know it." (California)
"My son's baseball team isn't that great this summer and my prodigal spouse and I were talking about him playing with another team. My husband said that we must honor our commitments. Praise God for putting us in a situation where my spouse is saying exactly what I want to say to him. I am believing God is going to use my husband’s own words to convict him." (Ohio)

"'The days are coming,' declares the LORD, 'when I will bring my people Israel and Judah back from captivitya]"> and restore them to the land I gave their forefathers to possess,' says the LORD...'In that day,' declares the LORD Almighty, 'I will break the yoke off their necks and will tear off their bonds; no longer will foreigners enslave them.'" This is what the Lord says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.” Isaiah 48:17
Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the great deep. O LORD, you preserve both man and beast. How priceless is your unfailing love! Psalm 36:5-7a
"My prodigal was involved with a woman who worked with me. I continued to pray and stand and now she has not only resigned from my company but my husband also broke off the relationship. He has continued to say he still loves me. Praise God for His continued answers to prayers." (Texas)
"For the past couple of weeks, the Lord has prompted me to increase the fervency of my prayers and fasting for my husband. This week, I got a look on the other side of the mountain. How wonderful our God is." (Pennsylvania)
"Ten months ago I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and the prognosis was not the best. After months of chemo, a double mastectomy, and radiation I am Cancer Free! Praise God! When I was first diagnosed I cried out to God in my pain and fear and asked God for a sign. When I opened my Bible my finger was on Psalm 103:3. 'He heals you of all your diseases!' From that point I knew the Lord had already healed me and I give him all the glory! My entire church, family, and friends have stood in awe as I've shared this verse with them and they have seen the healing." (Alabama)
“I am so grateful for this ministry. I have found so much comfort here during this difficult time. I've learned and grown so much and feel that I am a better person now. This ministry came at a time when everyone was telling me to give up. I had never heard the word 'stand' before coming to Rejoice Ministries. Thank you, Charlyne for being so transparent and sharing your personal stories. It has blessed me. I can’t wait to share my personal testimony of my prodigal returning home.” (California)
“I have been standing for only a few months now but have seen amazing work by the Lord. Both of our children have given their lives to the Lord. When the children come back to me, my spouse and the kids all stand and pray together! I praise the Lord that I have been able to testify to friends and find a supportive Bible study group. GOD IS IN CONTROL. I know God is good and wants my spouse’s heart.” (United Kingdom)
"I received a surprise phone call and visit last week from my husband who lives in another state hours away. He wants to work things out. His comment was he couldn't understand how I acted as though nothing had happened and I had let my hair grow and gained a little weight just for him. It is time to wait longer so that God can get the glory for our restored marriage, which He has confirmed to me." (Mississippi)
"I have become a stander for my marriage and I will not turn back." (Virginia)
“I am standing for my marriage. I have not seen any progress on the other side, but I have gone through a dramatic change. It is very hard to hold on sometimes, but my confidence is in God. I was praying for a sign for about a month, and finally, on a highway Saturday and I saw a Covenant Transport truck. I was so excited. I believe God is working and I can't wait to see what He is going to do with my marriage. Don't give in to the enemy’s lies, God is working. Hold to the testimonies, they are an encouragement to keep us going. Be still and see the salvation of the Lord.” (North Carolina)
"I was dreading Christmas this year as my prodigal is gone and this was the first Christmas we were to spend apart. My husband invited me to his mom’s for Christmas and he treated me better than I expected. We spent that evening and Sunday together and he told me he still loves me and wants to work on our marriage. God is softening my husband’s heart and now is the time to pray even more. My husband is struggling and for him to admit how he feels after months of nothing is a miracle." (Kentucky)
“so is my wordthat goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11
"I have heard God’s voice through the Bible. This time He spoke to me through Bob’s book, 'Pulpits in the Marketplace.' One of the characters said, 'Don't worry, if that is God's will, He will make a way.' Where God spoke was that this sentence was divided between pages. Right on the top of page 81 it reads, 'is God's will, He will make a way.' It came to me. Marriage reconciliation is His will." (Maryland)
"Encouraged by a fellow stander's Monday devotional, I journaled: I am anguished, not angry. I am brokenhearted, not bitter. I am humbled, not haughty. I am resolute, not retaliatory. I am hopeful, not hurried. I am blessed. God is faithful. It is never too late for Him. 'Jesus replied, 'What is impossible with men is possible with God.' Luke 18:27" (California)
“I just wanted to say thank you for your prayers and that God is a faithful God. Never put God number two; He should always be number one. ‘…and you will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the Lord your God, and that there is no other; never again will my people be shamed.’ Joel 2:26-27 I praise Him because my prodigal and I are talking! All praises to Him. Keep praying and never give up.” (Kenya)
"After a separation and months of talking only as it related to bills and children, my wife came over last night to pick up some things and ended up staying to talk. A softness had returned to our communication. I was able to verbalize my stand once again and share about God's goodness. Praise God for opening doors and for allowing this." (South Carolina)
"I was praying the other day about whether or not I am doing the right thing by standing for my wife, or was this something I just dreamed up. I was an hour and a half late getting off work and God did what He did. As I was driving home a Covenant Transport truck pulled right out in front of me, and I began to praise the Lord. As I made my exit, I looked at the street sign and it said Victory Blvd!!! Praise God He is working behind the mountain, and I know in his perfect timing all things will be made anew!! Amen. Thank You, Heavenly Father." (Virginia)
“Praise the Lord! While fasting and praying, God told me I wasn't ready yet for restoration. I was then delivered from a spirit of lust that I struggled with since childhood, and God is working to deliver me from fear. Many in my church family are also being delivered from fear! I was told my ‘Charlyne Cares’would have something for me one morning and it had many things for me (Do Not Be Afraid) and I was also told to read Psalm 91 every day to get through the holidays. My marriage trial is helping me minister to other women at work and be a witness on a daily basis. People are being prompted to intervene in my husband's life without my knowledge and God is using that to reach him. The Lord is doing much right now and I wanted to tell others turn ENTIRELY to the Lord. Trust and obey!” (Pennsylvania)
"I want to praise God for the wonderful afternoon I had with my husband. He and I laughed and talked just like we did when we were married. I asked him to come to church with us on Easter and he is coming." (Canada)
“Easter praise! My husband has been gone for many years and living with the OW. I pray every day for him, sometimes more than once. For the FIRST TIME EVER he sent an Easter care package to my son filled with goodies and nothing for me. There was a note folded in half wishing my son a Happy Easter. After a few hours the Lord reminded me, no, it's a trap, don't be mad, just pray for him. So I did. I thanked the Lord for the package. We came home from church and I decided to look at the note again only this time I opened it ALL the way up, and there at the very bottom was my Happy Easter wish! God is so good. Be faithful and keep praying. God will change their hearts in His time. Stand strong! Never give up!” (Arizona)
"God showed me I have been putting the cart before the horse. I am fighting for restoration, when actually the first battle that needs to be fought is for my hubby to know Jesus and be free." (Alabama)
"My husband moved out months ago and it looked like our marriage was over and divorce would become final. Under conviction of the Holy Spirit, I was called to stand for our marriage. The Lord restored our marriage a week after I was baptized by immersion at church. I asked the Lord to change me and He changed us both. We now understand unconditional love and dismissed the divorce this week." (Michigan)
“I want to give glory to God because He let me see the restoration of my parents’ marriage. God has transformed my father and my mother and now they are very happy. The lies of Satan couldn't put down the flames of love in my parents. Now my brother and I are at peace that the generational curse it is beeing broken, thanks to prayer and the cord of three strands. Thanks to God who touched the heart of my father and made a stander of my mother. Now they are an example for me as I continue praying for my husband. May God bless you. Don't give up, everything has its time.” (Mexico)
Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. Psalm 105:1-4
"I was about to give up on my marriage restoration. My mother-in- law whom I have not seen or spoken to in awhile called me several times during the week. Then on Facebook my prodigal spouse asked me to be his friend, when last year he did not want to be friends. I viewed his page and he has removed the picture of the other woman and he put in pictures I took of him on our wedding anniversary outing a few years back. All I can say is praise God." (Pennsylvania)
"I have been asking the Lord to help my husband to get away from his sin. Then this week we talked and my husband asked if he could come see our daughter. Next week he will be seeing her." (Pennsylvania)
"We went to court this morning to finalize our divorce. I prayed that God's will be done. When we went in, my husband was told that he could not divorce me and our case had to be thrown out until our daughter is born in a few months. Praise God He is moving." (Connecticut)
"My prodigal husband who is still at home sent me a text expressing his love for me. God indeed speaks to prodigals. Praise His name." (United Kingdom)
"I give praise to God. My husband left me for someone else and for months I prayed and fasted. My prodigal and the other woman decided to break things off. During this time God opened my eyes to how I needed to be a better wife and He changed me. My husband has been home for several months and every day I see God restoring the love that was dead in our marriage. Everyone was skeptical about my stand, and said my prodigal had his own free will, but I knew that God had called me to stand and that He would complete the work that He began." (Colorado)
“Praise the Lord for He teaches us and instructs us with His Word. My prodigal and I are going through mediation, therefore he has started to visit us once a week as per the mediation plan. The second time he visited, I was not prepared and instead of praying and zipping my lips, I answered back and we argued and he stormed out. I was heartbroken. I attended an all night prayer. The next visit, my prodigal and I and our son attended church as a family. We talked, laughed, had lunch, did shopping and spent the whole day together without arguing. Thank You Lord Jesus.” (United Kingdom)
"I asked God for a real sign of my husband's love. On Mother's Day, my spouse called to wish me happy Mother's Day. He also gave the kids money to buy gifts for me. I was so happy and puzzled, but I know it was a direct answer to my prayer to Jesus. Our spouses are not too far off for God to reclaim them thru His Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ." (Maryland)
"God is softening my husband's heart. Last night he came to get his mail. The Lord nudged me to give him a Christmas present I had saved for him and when he opened it he broke down in tears because of all that he's missing. We cried for an hour. It is getting harder and harder for him to move on, which I know is God speaking to him. Thank God." (Canada)
“God is working on changing hearts. My estranged wife wanted some help from me a few days ago. It was God who was working in me! I made my best possible efforts to help despite the circumstances of estrangement and appearances in the court room. Forgiveness is divine indeed and may God continually guide my heart in His ways. The divorce application filed by my wife has had its final hearing. It looks like it is set for dismissal by the court. Praise and thank God for His mighty works.” (India)
"Know that the LORD has set apart the godly for himself; the LORD will hear when I call to him." Psalm 4:3
"Praise God, He is softening my wife's heart and she is making false starts toward home. Twice in the past week when I was reading His Word and in my prayer time I sensed that God was telling me to prepare our home for my wife's return and to pray for her to be restored to me soon. Just after this, she came to stay for two days. She seems so close to coming home for good. She even planned for our family for the upcoming holiday." (Louisiana)
"Today I had the opportunity to meet with my prodigal spouse and to make it clear to her that I am standing for her and our family. At the time, her heart didn't seem quite as hard as it has been. God can move mountains and I believe he will rebuild us on His foundation. My faith continues to grow stronger." (California)
