“Out of the blue (with my lips zipped, daily prayer, and fasting) my ex-wife asked me to spend Christmas Eve at her house with my two girls and her family. It was a fantastic night. She also asked me to visit her sister's house with our girls on Christmas Day. Then, to top it off, we took our girls to see a popular play in our city. I texted her that I will be thinking of her, miss her, and will never stop praying for her, us, and our family. God does answer prayer. I'm continually blown away that He does speak to me in ways like this.” (Illinois)
"Thursday I received a call from a creditor threatening to seize my appliance for the debt. I prayed and the Lord told me to call my prodigal and tell him about it. I did and my prodigal paid most of it. To God be the glory. My prodigal still cares." (Jamaica)
For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. Hebrews 3:4
"I got stuck in a huge traffic jam while driving to the airport. It looked like our son and I were going to miss our flight. The Lord led me to call my husband. He told me to park my car as near to the airport as possible and he would take care of everything. The jam dissolved and we got our flight. My husband picked up my car, paid the expenses, picked us up a week later and filled my gas tank. Praise and glory to our mighty Lord." (Netherlands)
"I received an email from the other woman saying that my husband had walked away without a goodbye or anything. She asked me what is she going to do. She seems to feel a connection to me. I can only shake my head with wonder and keep on praying." (Tennessee)

"My husband came back for the Labor Day weekend. After praying for years, God is bringing him back. He is still not convinced about God's will for his life. I will keep praying and believing." (Texas)
"God is so good. My prodigal returned to our family. We had signed a paper agreeing to terms for my son and I to leave the state and allow my husband the freedom he felt he needed. The day I signed that paper was the day I truly released my husband and our marriage to God. By the next afternoon my husband’s heart had been broken before God." (Arizona)
The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman,' for she was taken out of man." For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. Genesis 2:23-24
"I want to praise The Lord. My prodigal filed for divorce from the non-covenant." (Georgia)
"God really spoke to me tonight. I was able to make it to Pompano Beach for Bible study. My spouse lives in the area and knew I would be in town. He said he might be able to see us if he got out early. During the study I prayed for God to show me something. My husband has filed for divorce. After the study my cell phone was dead. My husband had been trying to reach us. He drove up to my friend’s house. Thanks be to God." (Florida)
"I had visitation yesterday. All my children had gotten sick after going back to grandma's house. My wife contacted me by text message several times last night. I responded to her, even though she has put a protection order on me. I praise God that my wife contacted me about my kids. God is softening her heart." (Nebraska)
“I requested prayer a few months back over my back, hip, and leg. I would like to report that I am doing wonderfully. Other than some occasional numbness in my leg I am healed! Praise God! I just wanted to take some time to thank everyone for your prayers and praise God for my healing! Still standing for healing in my marriage and I know in God’s time it will happen! Thank You Jesus!” (Missouri)
"This past year brought great encouragement to me. I was reassured by my spouse that I have been the only consistency in his life. I was able to have my husband share with me what has been going on in his life, clear evidence of my prayers, and God, at work in his life. The glory is to the Lord." (Florida)
"The Lord let me be alone this Easter except for church services. I have felt Him be my spouse; I have joy in the victory that is Easter. Praying to understand His timing, He immediately gave me Job 31:38-40, telling me it may take some time for my prodigal and the non-covenant to recognize the briers and weeds all around them." (United Kingdom)
“At the county courthouse, with our children holding the rings, tears in their eyes, we remarried. Thank You God for restoring our marriage and our family. I urge you to stand firm regardless of what others say. Please listen to God; He is the One true lawgiver who is able to save.” (Missouri)
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19
“Praise the Lord! For many months I have been standing with God to bring my husband home to me and our son. Many times I felt hopeless and not able to do anything, but God never stopped directing His will and promises upon this walk. God had started a major cleaning job in both me and my husband. He brought RMM on my path by an answer to prayer in a hopeless state of mind and I have been using each tool as a weapon in this fight. Finally a few days ago my husband spoke the words I had been longing to hear for so long: I will come back. Praise Him who sets the captives free! I continue to look to Jesus for everything in my life and I am in awe of how He has softened my husband's heart. Let this Light rekindle all the sparks in our marriage. All glory to Him!” (Malaysia)
"God led me to write a letter to the other woman to tell her I forgave her and to witnessed to her about God and letting her know I am praying for her. My children sent a recording Christmas card to their daddy saying how much they love him. Thank You God for softening my heart." (Rhode Island)
"Yesterday when I got home from church I saw that my husband has started to move his belongings back into our home. Thank be to God that I never gave up standing and that He is bringing my husband home." (New York)
"After seeing God restore my own marriage over a year ago, I decided to continue praying for other marriages in trouble. I was able to quietly pray for a co-worker for the last year. Praise God that marriage is now restored and the relationship is being rebuilt! God's Word is so true when it says that God is no respecter of persons! I stand in awe. Praise the Lord!" (Pennsylvania)
"Today I feel a peace that I have not felt in a long time. I was having a very down week, missing my wife and praying very hard for her, me and our kids. Last night I dreamt that my wife was home, I know it was not just wishful thinking, but God telling me that she will be back one day. I am feeling much better and I have been thanking and praising the Lord. Our God is wonderful." (Illinois)
"God has blessed me tremendously this past year. I know the promise God made to me of marriage restoration and each time my husband tries to file for the divorce something happens. I am back in college after many years. My son has good grades. I am healthy, wiser and more appreciative of and dedicated to God, His Son Jesus, and the Holy Ghost." (Kentucky)
“Last week, my uncle died and I was to share the Word of God at the funeral service. Every morning I had prayed that my spouse would come to the funeral and that God would give me words that would console my aunt, speak to my cousin (he is an unbeliever) and appeal to my husband. This morning I prayed for the last time that my husband would come. I said, ‘Lord for you, anything is possible even at the last minute.’ My husband did come, late, but in time, so he could hear the Word of God. I used 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, about unconditional love. That was something I wanted to tell my husband for a long time, but God's Word has more power. After the funeral my aunt came to me and said that she was comforted by the Word of God and at the grave of my uncle I saw my cousin praying.” (Germany)
But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. O my Strength, I sing praise to you; you, O God, are my fortress, my loving God. Psalm 59:16-17
"Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality." Romans 12:11-13
"One night recently I was interested in the amount of snow that would be predicted for the next day's commute to work. I turned on the television, without changing channels, and immediately saw a reporter standing safely above the freeway, with a Covenant Transport Truck passing by right behind. Seeing that Covenant Transport Truck for that split second, I was reminded that God's timing is perfect and He will restore our marriage! PTL!" (Minnesota)
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:20-21
"I got to go to a women's conference recently. The conference title was 'How Big is Your God?' That is just what God has been asking through my stand. There was a testimony of a woman with a restored marriage and I know God wanted me to hear it. I praise Jesus I was there." (Ohio)
"My wife came to visit Mother's Day weekend. We had a fun time together. There was no anger, and I was able to give her a Mother's Day card that expressed my love for her. It felt like old times. Thank You Lord." (Arizona)
"God has changed me this last year to a humble person seeking Him in everything. God has shown me to make peace with my situation. I can count on God providing the answer to all my problems. I praise Him for fixing the relationship between my husband and our son. God is in control, His will be done in our family." (South Africa)
"The girls and I went outside this morning to finish shoveling as we had gotten 36 inches of snow in 28 hours. The snowplow left a huge pile almost five tall in our driveway. We saw someone had shoveled us out. We thought it was a kind neighbor, but it was my husband who drove in from out of town at 6:00 A.M. to shovel us out. Thank You Lord that he still is concerned about us." (Washington)
"I know God has been speaking to me, but I couldn’t hear. One night I cried out to Him to send me a sign that I could see. The next morning I checked my email and my husband asked to come and visit. We talked and laughed just like before. I know God is working on my husband to tear down the walls. Praise God." (Texas)
"So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands." Isaiah 55:11-12
“My husband texted me and said he wanted to go to church with me rather than going to his review. PTL! I know GOD is not sleeping; He hears my cry. I always pray Isaiah 29:24, Proverbs 21:1 and Ezekiel 36:25-27. God is faithful. I believe God is touching him. God can raise a dead body and raise dead marriages. To all standers, keep worshiping and praising God. He is very pleased because worshipping matters to Him. God knows our heart and He will do the rest in His appointed time. To God be the Glory!” (Philippines)
“I have been standing for some years. There have been a few false starts and two court postponements! I have a new court date in two months and am praying and believing for my suddenly. One night I was praying and feeling down. I decided to thank God for what I cannot see. The next morning, on my way to work, I was praying and listening to a sermon and I thought how nice it would be if God would show me He is working on the other side of the mountain. That afternoon I found out my husband emailed and called my adult son and in those conversations he mentioned that he missed him and his family. God gave me a sign even when I didn't ‘ask’ for it. God is working! Thank You God!” (California)
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. Romans 5:1-5
“Praise God for He is good and His love endures forever. Praise Him for He honors His covenant of love with those who fear Him. I'm so thankful to the LORD for allowing me, through a set of circumstances, to ask my spouse if I can be communicating with him regularly, through email, for the sake of keeping in touch. I had the courage to make this request because during a recent visit I sensed that my spouse's heart had considerably softened. The LORD gave me the breakthrough amid much prayer and emotional confusion concerning my stand. It is one day at a time with Jesus, with the assurance that sorrow may remain for the night but joy comes in the morning.” (Canada)
"Since divorce my husband has not acknowledged my birthday at all. I included in my prayers a request for some form of birthday acknowledgment. My covenant husband called days before my birthday to ask me out for a birthday lunch. He also called on my birthday to wish me a good day. When he picked me up for lunch he had a card for me, as I had prayed. I praise God." (Florida)
…yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 2 Corinthians 7:9-10
“I woke up and asked myself how did I make it this far. I know only God could do this. I have been standing for many years. My husband recently remarried and I just thought that I could now go on with my life. I searched and questioned God and a pastor told me that my marriage is null and void. I told him that I do not believe that and have been standing and now just waiting on my suddenly. I don't know when, but God will do it! I will not give up on what God promised me!” (Texas)
“I am confessing that my covenant marriage is restored! God made me a promise and I believe in His Word. He is not a God that He should lie. After some years of separation and months after the divorce, my husband said he loved me too! Praise God! It is not by anything I have done or said, my Lord gets all the GLORY! We are attending a family wedding in the near future, as a family. I am in awe of the unconditional love that He has for me and my family. Forgiveness was hindering my prayers and now I have a testimony that God does heal. Blessed is she who has BELIEVED that what the Lord has told her will be accomplished! Luke 1:45.” (Pennsylvania)
"I give our Lord the praise and glory that I was able to spend time with my wife yesterday. Like every weekend, I had the kids and we had made plans to meet for the exchange. I was able to see her to give her some flowers and a small gift from me. I praise God for orchestrating the events that allowed that to take place. My wife mentioned that she could not afford to eat out. I felt the Holy Spirit telling me that I should treat them to a meal. Before I left, I gave her some money and told her that it was Mother's Day and she should not have to cook. She gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. It was the first time in months that my wife has hugged me or given me a kiss. I had been praying for a physical demonstration from my wife that her heart is softening and God heard my prayer." (New Jersey)
“My prodigal comes once a week to play with our youngest for a bit, PTL! He has started slowly fixing things up in the house. He ignores me and that hurts and I have difficulty ‘zipping my lips’ but I know that the Lord will help me and I will succeed soon just as I am now able to love him unconditionally. I am waiting for God to complete His work in me and then I know my prodigal will return ‘suddenly.’ I am praising my Lord for the restoration of my marriage. Standers, don’t quit!” (Canada)
“PTL! After many months of separation, ignorance, and threats of divorce from my husband, out of the blue, he came to spend New Year’s Eve with me! We had an amazing conversation and I was pleased to hear that he had taken a look at and has begun to own up to his own wrongs through our marriage and was no longer solely blaming me! He told me that this was a positive move in the right direction for us and was very loving. My walk with Our Lord through this time has been life changing! Being an advocate of standing for my marriage had many looking at me as though I were crazy, but I followed exactly what the Lord has told me to do - to keep standing with love and kindness. My husband mentioned this great change in me and I can see how my walk with the Lord is inspiring him. The Lord kept asking me if I was ready this whole holiday season and I said "YES!" Now we are taking it slow and on the mend. I am giving the Lord all of His due glory!” (Pennsylvania)
"A friend and I meet regularly to pray for our prodigal spouses. People in our church are coming behind us in prayer and are standing with us for restoration and healing. We see God at work, confirming to us to stand firm and believe God for the restoration and healing of our marriages. God is so good." (United Kingdom)
“For a few years now my daughter has been trying to get me to go see this chiropractor she knew. I kept telling her I didn’t need one ! One morning I got up and my neck was hurting so bad and I decided to go to this chiropractor. I shared my story with her. She started telling about how her husband left her and how she found this site. It was RMM! She wrote the web site down and for a few days I just looked at the card but decided to check it out. Well I am a now a stander. Praise God. My husband and I are not back together yet but I know it will happen because I put all my faith in God. Now I have brought four others to RMM. Praise the Lord, He is working hard for me.” (Michigan)
But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:6
