My wife called me. A friend told her about a movie we should see. I believe she knew what Fireproof was about before we went, but she did not tell me. While in the movie she was crying and emotional. She said she wished she had seen the movie before she filed for divorce. The thing I did not tell her is that I had seen Fireproof before, so I was thanking God because I know He is moving to restore our marriage in Jesus name. (Georgia)

This morning at church I prayed, asking for God to give me confirmation that I am on the right track by standing. Three hours after that prayer, my wife wrote back, thanking me for the email. I even started doubting what I had believed to be God softening my spouse's heart was now in all actuality just manipulation and control. "Praise the Lord, my at-home prodigal's heart is softening. We have been living in separate rooms with little communication. God is at work. My husband is talking to me now and helping with housework. I came across Rejoice Marriage Ministries when I had given up and repeatedly asked him to move out. You have no idea what God has planned for your intact family, if you do not give up. If you buy into the "This is too hard," or the "God has someone better for you" distraction from the devil, not only will your marriage probably not be restored, but the future plans of God for your family will be thwarted.
"I asked the Lord to give me encouragement. Wednesday morning I received a text from my prodigal sharing a photo of flowers I had sent the previous week wishing him well in his new job and new location. He said the flowers were still pretty. I know I will reap a harvest. Praise the Lord." (Georgia)
"This past week I have prayed and fasted for my anniversary to be special since I haven't celebrated it for several years. On the night before, an important appointment made it possible for my spouse and I to be in the same room for our anniversary. I left work early to travel over a hundred miles to attend Easter Holy Thursday service at my church. I walked in and knelt to pray. Two pews ahead of me, where we used to sit, was my prodigal. God is amazing and I am so touched. Last year my husband did not go to church on Holy Thursday. He was the last person I expected to see. God is working on my prodigal's heart. (Minnesota)
