"My son opened up to his dad for the first time regarding our divorce. My young son, not prompted by me, shared our stand as a family regarding his return to the Lord, then to us, with his dad. My husband called me and I was able to share with him. Praise God, my husband’s 'never to be together' is now 'most likely.'" (Arizona)

“When I sought God during my separation I sensed hope. I found your website while browsing for testimonies of restoration. Although I have not seen a change in my husband's attitude yet, the way in which God is moving is awesome. My husband had filed for divorce but the particular judge who was hearing our case was known for not giving divorce. My husband got frustrated due to the prolonging and withdrew the case. In our city we have four family courts with different judges in each court. My husband filed it again at another court which had a different judge at the time of filing, hoping a new judge could help. When we arrived for the hearing at the new court what I saw really moved my heart. The old judge had been transferred to this court! Seeing this judge, my husband left the court without attending the hearing. I felt like Job when he said he had heard of God but now I see Him”  (India)

"Last Sunday my wife called me while I was in church. She wanted to take a walk with me and our son that afternoon. We spent the afternoon at the beach, had dinner together and she opened her heart to me for the first time in months. God Almighty is opening her eyes. Praise Him who is fulfilling the work in us." (Spain)

“I went to my final court hearing only to find out that a new judge had been appointed and a final hearing would be at a later date. God is still on working in my situation; He still has the last say. PTL!”  (Florida)

"We have been separated for a few years. But I want to thank the Lord for His faithfulness. Even in the midst of this loneliness, pain and hurt, He assured me that our marriage will be restored in His time, for His glory. 'If you believe, you will see the glory of God.'  Amen."  (India)

"Lately I have been feeling sorry for myself about the total rejection from family members and my spouse. Out of the blue, my father-in-law decided to give me a car. He put it in my spouse’s and my names. My spouse didn't like this, so we went to transfer the title and they said that it had to stay in both of our names since it was a gift. I told my spouse that if God thought it was important to keep our names together on a title, then I must keep standing." (Michigan)

"Praise God for He has answered my prayers. My husband returned home but still struggles with thoughts of the other woman. It's tough to hear about it, but the Lord taught me perserverance and long-suffering while my husband was away. I just continue to talk to God about it and trust that He will deliver my husband from those strongholds. Prayer and fasting do work. My husband is not a reader, but he read Bob's book, and it was such an encouragement to him. Praise God for all He has done. I have to keep reminding myself that restoration is not an event, but a process." (New York)

"My husband has been in a rush to get our divorce over. I have made it clear I am standing for the marriage and am committed to showing my husband love. We have only had one meeting, and the next one got cancelled due to scheduling conflicts by others so I was elated. Our next two meetings will have to be cancelled also because of an attorney’s schedule. God's timing is perfect. He is in control." (Texas)

"I had been keeping two sets of mis-matched socks for months in case the matching ones showed up. They showed up this week and I now have two new pairs. Praise God that He speaks to us in so many ways and that He sorts out the mis-matches of adultery, even while we cannot see the work going on." (United Kingdom)

"After a fight with my husband, I stormed off to my room and began to plan out the divorce in my head. My mind was spinning with all the details when suddenly there was such stillness and quiet. I heard God tell me 'be patient' and that was when I knew divorce was not the path God had planned for me. I began standing on God's promises for a restored marriage and continue to stand strong allowing Him to work through me. Praise God, He is faithful. I praise Him and thank Him daily for the promise of a restored marriage." (Texas)

“God is on the move in the heart of my beloved husband. I have been standing for several years now. I can see how contentious I was as his wife and God has and is doing something truly miraculous in my heart. My husband has been having difficulties lately and he came over the other day. He said it was because he does not need any more headaches right now. I asked him if I was a headache to him. He told me that I was the furthest thing from a headache. I was in awe of that response and PRAISE the Lord for yet another answered prayer. God is opening my husband's eyes to all the work He is doing in me and our marriage. I am hopeful that shortly I will have a restored testimony to share. Thank you for all of your support during this time.”  (New York)

"My absent husband shared bad news with me. I was shocked and angry, but God is in control. I was able to zip my lips. I wanted to give up, but God is directing me to wait, look towards Him and not focus on the circumstances. God has provided a Christian retreat for me this weekend. What timing." (California)

"I have found myself content with the idea of giving up on my marriage and moving on with my life. Evidently God still has other plans. I received a call from my father-in-law last week in need of my help on a job. We haven't seen each other or spoken in a year. He invited me over to discuss the work, then I visited him and my mother-in-law. God's timing is perfect. Over the past couple months I had grown very weary. Thank You, Jesus." (North Carolina)

"My husband and I spent quality time together recently. We went shopping, cooked a meal, ate and talked until the wee hours of the morning! We enjoyed each other’s company so much and things felt so comfortable, natural and most of all our conversation has improved. He even indicated that we could delay the sale of our marital home for a time. God is turning my husband’s heart of stone to flesh and opening up new avenues of communication between us. God does answer prayers!" (Maryland)

"My wife and I are divorced. A year ago I passed a van on the side of the road. It was my wife. I stopped to help her out even though we hadn't spoken in months. Today I received my first phone call in a year from her. She asked if I could help her because her van broke down again. She was able to coast into my driveway. Both chance events give me hope for the future. Thanks, God." (Pennsylvania)

As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped...Then he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace."  Luke 8:42b-44; 48

"I am now co-teaching a Bible study class. Not only was our divorce dismissed from the courts twice, my husband and I are once again communicating. Praise God." (Ohio)

“Thank You Jesus. I so needed to hear the message on trusting. My beloved and I have been back together for some months. I know that he and the OW still talk and it is very difficult. I keep praying and trusting God to help me to keep my focus on HIM and not the circumstances around me, but it's a struggle. I thank God for this ministry. And that Bob and Charlyne have been so transparent with their struggles. I know that it has helped me to see that the enemy keeps using the same tricks to work on dividing families. ‘God please help each of us standers to trust you above all else. You are a God of impossibilities.’”  (Pennsylvania)

"I just want to encourage other standers. For the past year I have stood for my marriage against all the odds. My church and my family, no one believed that God could restore, But after a year of separation my husband and I are reunited. Our marriage is being restored. Don't lose heart. God still moves and removes mountains. Don't give up. Keep praying!" (Washington)

"I am standing for my marriage. Yesterday my husband called and we had a decent conversation. He apologized for his actions. I cried and praised the Lord for already softening his heart. He will be back home in God's timing." (Florida)

“I was so excited to read the devotion about Tim Tebow. I have been standing for my marriage for over three years now. Things are up and down with my in-home prodigal, but recently things have really been improving. The one thing that makes me sad is that my husband will not go to church with my kids and me. We were watching the game on Saturday. I was so excited when the John 3:16 commercial came on, and everyone in the house was watching it, including my husband. And to make it even more exciting, halfway through the commercial, my son’s best friend popped up on the screen to say his part of the verse. His dad works at Focus on the Family, so he got to be a part of the commercial. It was very exciting, and we were all cheering for him. It was really a blessing from God to be able to hear His Word, even though we weren't in church.” (Colorado)

"I am a stander once again for my in-home prodigal. I stopped going to church and slacked off in my prayers and even though my returned prodigal was not saved, things were very good between us and he said he was committed to our marriage. That's exactly what Satan wanted me to believe. My fellow standers, please do NOT fall into the trap I fell into. I now know that as Charlyne says, standing is for LIFE.”  (New York)

"Last Sunday my wife, whom I haven’t spoken to in months showed up at my baptism. I didn’t tell her about the baptism or ask her to come." (Ohio)

"Today was court and the judge could have granted our divorce. The judge set a court date at a further time. Praise God for what He is going to do to restore our family." (California)

“I invited my prodigal to a family event; he agreed to come but changed his mind. He finally said that he did not want to take off work to be with the family. For the first time, I did not get upset or discouraged, ( all glory to God ). We attended the event and had a great time. I thanked God for the small step of him at least considering the event. The next morning, my husband texted me saying that he was coming to the house to exchange gifts. He has not been to the house in four months. My prayer to God was that this event would be the new start we were waiting for. The God that we serve is well able! He may not come when we want Him, but He is always right on time! Thanks for all the standers' prayers and I keep all of you in my prayers! Keep standing!”  (Louisiana)

"I praise God for the amazing changes I saw when my prodigal came to visit. I felt like I was dreaming and everything was too good to be true. I had asked for signs to show that God was moving in my prodigal’s life and God in His mercy did exceedingly abundantly above all I was expecting." (South Dakota)

"After many falls into the pit, my prodigal daughter has come home suddenly. The road she was on wounded her in many ways physically but I know my God has a road of recovery for her. Next will be her father. Thank You God for Your unique plan for healing and restoration." (Washington State)

“This week I saw a Covenant Transport truck barely after I said to God, ‘Am I to stand for this marriage?’ - going on many years. The timing was perfect and that I even turned my head to look at just the right time brought tears to my eyes and for the first time brought me this kind of comfort. I thought about submitting the testimony and then began to doubt that these trucks were a sign from God. Well last Saturday's testimonies were all about Covenant Transport trucks. It's kind of like a God double confirmation. Does God know me or what?”  (Wisconsin)

"Sunday I seriously asked for God to give me more hours at work. Monday my boss called and asked if I was willing to work at another department for two more days. Tuesday, I went back to church to give glory to God. Wednesday, I received Charlyne Cares, 'Jehovah-Jireh, The Lord Will Provide.' God is amazing in so many ways, and one of the ways is how He answers prayer." (California)

"I want to praise God. We are celebrating our one year restored anniversary. My husband is better than ever. He has totally given up alcohol and has rededicated his life to our family and the Lord." (Colorado)

"Praise God that my wife and our children were able to spend hours with me. My wife needed assistance taking a child to the doctor. I went and we interacted well and went to lunch with the kids afterward. Our little daughter, in front of my wife, invited me to go home with them. I know God is working on my wife’s heart and mind, and that our children are part of the process. Praise God He is faithful and I am standing strong." (Ohio)

"My husband sent me an email card out of the blue. I had been praying to God to put me in my husband's mind. The card was about a man who had a dream that terrified him and in it he realized what his life would be like without his wife and in the end he thanked his wife, because of her he had love, happiness, and family in his life. It showed me God is working on my hubby's heart. This is a start and I praise God for it." (Indiana)

"Ascribe to the LORD, O mighty ones, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness." Psalm 29:1-2

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart...”  Jeremiah 1:5a

“I pray to God every day for positive communication, reconciliation, love and restoration of our marriage and for the Holy Spirit to soften his heart. On an exceptionally difficult day when I was missing my husband and questioning whether I should continue to stand, I read a devotion from ‘Jesus Calling.’ ‘Come to Me and rest. I am all about you, to bless and RESTORE. Breathe Me in with each breath. The way just ahead of you is very steep. Slow down and cling tightly to My hand. I am teaching you a difficult lesson, learned only by hardship.’ Thank You, God for this glorious sign!”  (Ohio)

"Praise God for an answer to prayers for my military son-in-law who recently deployed to Iraq. I asked the Lord to surround him with believing comrades. Today my daughter told me he is bunking with the chaplain." (Illinois)

“I had just found out the paperwork from my divorce became official. I was sad, crying out to the Lord in my car while driving to meet a friend for her birthday. I said to the Lord, ‘Now that I am divorced are You sure You want me to stand for this marriage?’ Then I saw a Swift Truck with a Covenant Transporttruck right after it. Before I turned into the restaurant, I saw another Swift truck. Thank You Lord Almighty for showing me my fifth Covenant Transport truck but this time with a Swift! Amen.”  (Illinois)

"From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do." Isaiah 46:11

“I just wanted to write and thank you for last weekend’s conference call. The restored couple's story is a mirror image of my own. The words her prodigal spoke to her are the exact words my prodigal has spoken to me. I am encouraged for restoration of my own marriage. Waiting on God's perfect timing for my restoration.”  (Washington)

"While standing for my marriage and praying for lost souls my father was saved. After a life of drugs and drinking my dad finally gave his life to the Lord three months ago. He immediately gave up alcohol and drugs. Praise be to God for this miracle." (North Carolina)

“The kids and I had not spoken to my husband in days. Friday night on our way to Bible study we saw my husband. I pulled in and he came out of the store to speak to the kids and me. I thank God for allowing us to see him for a moment." (Maryland)

“I found this website at a low time in my marriage. God told me to go on a 30-day-fast. Before this time I was praying very fervently. Also when everything first happened I went to God and He said I would not get a divorce but my husband was pushing for one. Once I started to fast God started moving and quickly. I hadn't talk to my husband in months and on the last day of the fast 'my suddenly' came. My husband called and said he was ready to come home. To God be ALL the glory!!!”  (Texas)

“I asked the Lord this morning to speak to me loudly. I prayed the whole way while I was driving and asked Him to please do not whisper to me, but to speak loudly so that I could learn to hear his voice. About 15 minutes after I said my prayer, I was speechless to see a Covenant Transport truck passing by. I prayed at the beginning of my stand to see one. I never thought that I would. I immediately began to praise the LORD. I have no reason to cry any more. I know that I am following the Lord’s instructions!”  (Texas)

"Praise to God for His faithfulness. After last year's rock slide we in western North Carolina suffered hardship, especially the restaurant where I worked. I lost most of my hours. The Interstate recently reopened. Through this I still gave my tithe at church and my monthly contribution with Rejoice Marriage Ministries." (North Carolina)

“I believe God has told me that my husband will return to us very soon. God has answered many of my prayers and now I stand for my marriage and all marriages. My heavenly Father is my closest confidant!”  (Australia)

"My prodigal moved back home months ago after being gone for a few months. He moved into the spare bedroom and has at times been mean spirited. I asked God for some comfort that things would be better. As I was headed home one afternoon I passed a car that had written on it 'Never Stop Believing.' The weekend before Mother's Day we were at our granddaughter's birthday party and my husband hugged and kissed me several times and said to me, ‘I am really trying.’ It was such an uplift to my spirits. I thank God everyday for His strength." (Arkansas)

"My prayer partner and I prayed that God would give me encouragement during the Sabbath regarding my situation and that if there were any promises that we have failed to claim that He would show us. When I arrived at church, I noticed the title of the sermon was 'God is a Prayer Answering, Miracle Working God' and after briefly telling a friend about my situation, she told me to claim Hosea 2:6,7. After I relayed what happened during my day to my friend, we both praised the Lord for He heard our cry. I pray that God will continue to encourage me throughout my stand."  (Washington)

“I am thankful this morning, even though my prodigal is still in the far country. I know that I have grown closer to Jesus Christ, and I can say with all sincerity that all I want is Jesus’ perfect will be done in my life. I ask nothing more of Jesus. I am now taking my rest where my marriage is concerned, and it's all up to Jesus to do the restoration. I know that all things are possible with Jesus. I can say I am wiser, stronger and much better. To God be the glory for the great things He has done.”   (Bahamas)

“My suddenly happened last Sunday. My prodigal called and asked me to pick him up. The OW packed all her things and moved away. My husband has asked me and the kids to move in with him. Glory to God for His awesomeness. We still have some ways to go but praise God he is home with us. Trusting God for His promises of complete restoration and New Beginnings. God is always in control and on the throne making a way from no way. Thank You Lord for everything. Thank You Lord for bringing me through and I thank You for my husband and family too.”  (Georgia)
