“My daughter recently married and moved about 10 hours away from here, and my son moved away as well. I have one grandchild and she is expecting another. I visited and am contemplating a move there. I have been standing for many years and fear set in moving far from my spouse with whom I have only occasional contact . As I prayed fervently for a sign that it would be OK to move, I walked past a car with a fancy romantic decorative license plate which read our two names on it together! Bob frequently said God knows no distance and I know our marriage could benefit from a change of location when we are restored. I praise Him for his loving kindness - always in ways we can never imagine!”  (Rhode Island)

"My husband texted me that he wanted to spend time with me because his spirits had been low. I was able to make his favorite meal and we had great quality time together. God allowed each of us to bring to remembrance many happy moments we have shared. I know that God is working to make us ready for restoration His way." (Florida)

“All praises be to the Most High God. I would just like to share with every stander to keep trusting God. There is power in the midst of every storm. When we look at the storm from our natural eyes we see turmoil. But when we stay focused on God in the midst of the storm we understand that storms come to replenish when you are rooted and grounded in the Lord. Each year we see storms tear down and destroy, but if we look closely that same storm that destroyed what once was, has now brought a newness. People begin to work together and bring restoration to a broken place. People begin to pray and come together. Just imagine how our Mighty God works on the scene of our storms of marriage and how the Kngdom of God comes together to restore what God has united together. Please don't give up. Trust God in the midst of your storm.”  (Texas)

“PTL! My testimony today is to give all praise to my Lord and Savior. I have been in prayer with RMM for some years. I don't even remember how I found this site, but I thank the Lord I did. My lawyer called my husband and told him that the paperwork had been prepared, and all he needed to do, was come by his office and sign them. To this date, he has not signed those papers. All praise goes to my Lord and Savior. Praise God, He made a way for me, out of no way! I trust in God, that my suddenly will happen, not my time but His alone. Keep praying and loving the Lord no matter what the circumstance you see!” (Louisiana)

"Over the last couple of weeks, my wife has started backing down on a number of her demands for the divorce settlement and her heart seems to be softening overall. She is laughing a bit when she calls to have the kids speak to me. The Lord is working every day. I pray for her heart to soften even more." (Texas)

"My husband has been over to the house several times. We went on a date last Friday. I know God is working in my spouse’s heart. I must remember that God is the one who told me to stand, and not anyone else. I know when the day of restoration comes, I will be thankful I obeyed my heavenly Father." (Tennessee)

"God is working. Friday night my husband unexpectedly came to see me and our adult children who live with me. He said he loved us all and told our children that I was the only one who shined. It is unusual that my children and I are here all together at the same time so I know that was God. Praise His Name." (Missouri)

"God is so good. I had to get my things out of my prodigal's house and I was able to spend some time with him and even go out to lunch. My husband got to see Christ in me and hear about my belief that God is restoring our marriage. To God be the glory." (Ohio)

Come and see what God has done, how awesome his works in man’s behalf!  Psalm  66:5

"The Lord is faithful. The loan modification has been approved for my home. I told my children I was trusting God. A job came into place two months ago and now we will remain in our home. God orchestrated this to fall into place. He allowed my children to witness my prayers answered. My children are unbelievers and have been touched personally by answered prayer." (California)

"God is good. I was feeling depressed and lonely and I prayed those feelings away. I knew something big was going to happen and praised God in anticipation. The next day my husband showed up with his belongings, asking to come home. I am so grateful and aware that I am now standing firmer than ever because the enemy will attack more now than ever." (Texas)

"My beloved husband wished me a happy birthday by text for the first time in years. God is so good." (Florida)

“PTL! I have been standing for my marriage (even through what seemed like hopeless times). But all the glory goes to God. My husband came home this month after being gone for a couple of years. We still have to deal with the OW due to a child being involved. But I know that God is going to work things out. We still have some things to work out but God will most definitely be the centerpiece this time. I just thank RMM for keeping me so encouraged. I pray that God continues to bless and strengthen this ministry.”  (Texas)

“Praise the Lord, dear standers. I'm praising God for another court hearing adjourned just as He promised. The next is about two weeks ahead. It seems so close BUT God! I trust He can move mountains in a split second so my heart is steadfast and looking only unto Him for my breakthrough. Keep standing dear friends....it’s not in vain.  Genesis 50:20:‘You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.’God will use your testimonies to restore other hurting marriages for His glory. Keep the faith. God bless and keep you.”  (Uganda)

“I've been praying for a Christmas miracle for me and every stander. My husband and I live in different countries and he was coming to pick up the kids. God gave me Habakkuk 2:3. Although a little discouraged because He said it's not time yet, I rejoiced because He also said ‘it will come and will not delay.’ The flight was delayed, we were able to have breakfast together, we talked and laughed with the kids. When they were about to leave I asked to please pray for the trip. My husband suddenly held my hand and we all held hands and prayed. He finalized the prayer saying ‘thank you Lord for what you are doing in us.’ YES, thank You Lord for what you’re doing and for what you're about to do in my marriage and in the marriage of every stander around the world. God is good and there’s nothing impossible for Him! Start thanking Him.”  (Puerto Rico)

“I have been feeling that God wants me to pray for other hurting marriages in my area. I asked the Lord to show me if this was His will. I opened my Bible on Ezekiel 37, the passage about seeing dead bones everywhere and the Lord telling the prophet that if he spoke over these dead bones the Lord would give them life. I asked God if He wanted me to speak His Word over dead marriages. That night I opened my Bible at Jeremiah 46:27. ‘My people do not be afraid ...I will rescue them from that far away land where they are held prisoners. They will come home and live in peace.' I know God wants me to pray!”  (United Kingdom)

The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace.  Psalm 29:11

"I want to thank and praise God for allowing me to spend Christmas with my wife and our son and her family for the first time in many years. God is turning her heart of stone into a heart of flesh. She wants me to share Christmas with her and her family again next year. Thank You, Lord Jesus." (Texas)

“so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.  Isaiah 55:11

"My husband and I are legally divorced. At Thanksgiving my husband and his mother did not include me in their family dinner. We even had an argument about time with our daughter. The week before Christmas my husband told me he knew we were still married in God's eyes. His mother invited me to dinner Christmas Eve and gave me a Bible with my name engraved on it. My husband gave me a nice gift with a cross on it. That night my husband's mother had a heart attack and as a result, my mom and my husband had the first peaceful conversation in months. I give praise to my God who hears my prayers and melts hearts." (State Removed)

And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.  James 5:15-16

"God is developing me each day as a virtuous woman and wife. I was recently served divorce papers. I love my husband today more than the day we were married. I recognize that it is the enemy behind this. God has helped me to remain calm in adverse times and to continue to speak good about my husband. Praise God, my emotions no longer have control over my responses." (North Carolina)

“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:22-24

"Last week I lost my wedding ring in a restaurant devotional. I was positive I had it when I washed my hands, but when we started to eat it wasn't there. I knew it was the devil trying to upset me so I didn't worry. I asked God to show me a sign that He was near. This morning I found the ring on my dresser in a place I would never have looked. I knew then that God definitely wants me to wait with Him for my husband to come home." (Texas)

"A few weeks ago my husband and I were not even speaking to each other. I let go of trying to restore my marriage in my own strength and let God do it in His great resurrection power, I see the healing. While I was praying and worshiping God, there was a knock at my door. It was my husband. We sat and talked for hours. The Lord is moving and my marriage is on its way to being restored." (South Carolina)

"This past week is the anniversary of my divorce becoming final. God encouraged me in several ways that He still sees me and my prodigal as connected. A holiday catalog of items that could be personalized had an ornament on the cover with our last name on it. A car repair shop looked in their computer to see the last time I had brakes replaced, and at that time my prodiga'ls name was listed as the owner of the truck. It's been many years that I've been praying, and it is so hard, but as the devotional ‘I Quit’says, what will be better if I stop standing for marriage restoration? Nothing, that's what. Standing is hard, but quitting is harder.”  (New Jersey)

"I was praying for a sign that the Lord was working in my husband. We have not spoken in months and he still will not speak to me. I just had my birthday and on that morning at 6:30 A.M. my husband texted my children to remind them it was my birthday. I thank the Lord that He answered my prayer. I know that my husband’s heart is softening." (Texas)

“My husband left me some months ago and I decided that divorce was not an option for me and began to pray for reconciliation. At first, my husband wanted nothing to do with me, and there have been many times that I have wanted to give up hope. But then God would give me little signs to show me I'm on His path. This past Monday, my husband drove six hours to see me and he showed me a marriage book he had bought and started reading. He asked me if I would start reading it too. Then, last night he called me just to talk because he was lonely and missed talking to me. We ended up talking for three hours! I will not give up! PTL!!” (West Virginia)

"I have been praying for salvation for my husband who has completely turned away from the Lord. Last Sunday my husband talked about God and told me that he prays. Praise the Lord. This Sunday my husband went to church with our son and he liked it very much. Praise the Lord for turning my husband's heart to Him." (Netherlands)

"I received word from my mother that my wife will be attending Thanksgiving dinner. My son and I will be traveling from other states to attend. This will be the first time in many years our entire family has been together on Thanksgiving. Praise be to the Lord." (Colorado)

"I finished reading Bob's latest book 'The Saved Seat' which for me is a wonderful book. One of the main persons in the book is a tow truck driver. The next morning after reading the book I looked out my window at the road and there was a tow truck parked there. I live in the country so it was very unusual to see a tow truck parked by the road. Truly a blessing from God to send that sign to me." (California)

"After my husband left he would only communicate with me regarding our children. Over the last month, God has allowed me glimpses of His work on my husband's heart. My husband has begun to visit our home to spend time with our children, usually staying for several hours at a time. We have eaten out on several occasions as a family and he took me to lunch for my birthday. I know God is at work accomplishing what He said He would do." (Arkansas)

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

"Praise God! God has been softening my wife's heart. She filed for divorce last year but by the grace of God it has not happened yet. She doesn't know if she is going to go forward with the divorce. But recently she talked about coming home as 'roommates'. I am trusting God to complete the work and I am not claiming roommate status but claiming that God will restore my marriage." (Tennessee)

“I just witnessed and participated in the miracle of a restored marriage. God sent a person to me who was at the end of her rope. She was being told to move on with her life and from what I heard, there seemed like no hope. This person was crying out for help, literally. God dropped her right in my lap knowing that I had learned so much while I am standing and waiting for my spouse. I was able to share with this person Biblical advice I had learned over many months. Zip the lips, show love, realize there are things you need to change and most importantly give it over to God. I am amazed, because within just a few weeks of our first talk - when things looked IMPOSSIBLE - they are now talking kindly and the prodigal wants to work on the marriage! This couldn't have come at a better time for me and I hope it encourages others. God is taking our horrible situations and using them to not only save other marriages, but to also bring people into a relationship with Him!”  (Illinois)

"Suddenly my husband turned up, 'weeping and praying' as God kept telling me he would. My husband has declared he is moving home. God has proven Himself." (United Kingdom)

Today is the one year anniversary of my husband leaving us. God is using this time to change both our hearts. My husband is nicer the last couple months. Two days ago he asked if he could spend Christmas with the kids and me, even though it was his turn to have them. God has changed me to show love and forgiveness even if I was not loved back. I can't wait to see what He has planned over Christmas. (Canada)

"My spouse has been calling for a few months. We have spent time together. The other woman is jealous and distraught. God gave me a heart for how she was feeling. I prayed that she reach out to God, not man. My husband called and we spoke for an hour. God continues to bring my husband to me." (Canada)

The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace.  Psalm 29:11

No one is like you,  O Lord; you are great, and your name is mighty in power.  Jeremiah 10:6

Several days ago, I was praying in my car for my prodigal wife and marriage and I wanted to share what I saw when I looked up. I believe God’s promise.  (Pennsylvania)

"My spouse has been unwilling to meet with or speak to our pastor and his wife who are close friends. They are driving four hours today to take her out to eat. God is moving in a special way today. Praise Him." (Florida)

“Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.”  Jeremiah 32:17

The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.  Nahum 1:7

"To God be the glory. My husband came home from another state to pick up our daughter for a long visit. While he was in town he put a swing set together in our backyard with his dad and our daughter. That Sunday, for the first time in a year, he joined us for church and even went to the altar for healing prayer with no prompting from me. While he walked all I could do was thank Jesus for moving on my husband's heart. Thank you, Lord for sending Your Holy Spirit to speak to my husband last weekend and during his visit with our daughter. Thank You for all that You are." (Louisiana)

“Saturday is my favorite day of the week to wake up and read stander's testimonies. It is a powerful thing to show thanks to God for His goodness, and it's beautiful to read about what Christ is doing in marriages. This week our church wrote and said they paid for my son's camp, I heard on my teaching assignment, I got a special CD from RMM, met new women that night at a Bible study, God spoke to me about specific healing I needed, and my son and I went on two day-vacation. Charlyne is right; you'll be refreshed with your families during the summer, wherever your spouse is. Praise God for being our provider! God's blessings to all standers! You're beautiful and God cares.”  (Arizona)

“Some months ago, I lost my wedding rings outside in a location that I am not even aware of. Yesterday, God restored them to me in an unbelievable set of circumstances! The marriage is a covenant between three and even though my spouse and I may have walked away from and even broken it, God has not! God returning my rings reminded me that He is faithful to keep His covenant promises!  For nothing is impossible with God.  Luke 1:37.”  (Florida)

“Thank you Rejoice Ministries for encouraging us to stand. Since I subscribed to this site, my decision to stand is yielding positive results. I receive daily confirmation from God that I made the best decision for my marriage. I want to praise and thank God for the Christmas gift I asked for. A few days after Christmas I texted my husband to make arrangements for our kids and he surprised me by wishing me a belated Christmas message and a blessed new year. He has never acknowledged any important days since the separation. I know the devil is saying this means nothing, but I know that this is God's assurance that He is still working on our marriage and the pending divorce is canceled forever in the mighty name of Jesus and the restoration is imminent. Glory be to God.”  (South Africa)

"Several years ago my husband left our marriage and divorced me for another woman. The divorce turned me to God. I knew I could not be separated from God's love. As the pain started to melt into compassion for my then ex-husband I was able to forgive, and came to see that God was caring for both of us. One day my husband showed up at my door and was very contrite. He wanted to come home. He was a new man. He realized the hand of the devil had taken its toll. I welcomed him back with open arms. We are now remarried and happier than ever. Our remarriage is squarely based on Christianity." (Wisconsin)
