“I got myself in over my head with a construction project at home. It looked easy at first but it soon turned out to be a very difficult task. I called my husband - who works in the construction industry - for advice. Little did I know that he had already planned to come help me. He knew from the start what I didn't know - how difficult it was going to be. He didn't tell me before because he didn't want to discourage me. Instead, he cleared up two days of his work schedule to give me a hand. We ended up working together with our son. I took pictures and my husband gave me some of his nicest smiles in years. Now I have a lovely veranda and we have great memories of something we did together. This is happening in spite of a three-year separation and tough times of hostility and threats of divorce. God is good! When I look at the veranda I can't help but think that this is a labor of love - all for me!”  (Canada) 

“Praise the Lord, for God is good and faithful. For the past two nights my husband has come home as God is answering prayers and the Holy Spirit is convicting and directing my husband's path. "Praise God!  I am rejoicing as I watch HIM move mountains. Saturday morning my beloved called and invited me to church for Easter Service with his parents. God has done a lot of cleaning up in me. Unconditional love for my husband has been God's call to me. Praise God for the love that He can put in our hearts, even when we are crying because of what our eyes see."  (Pennsylvania)

"I thank my God for His goodness. We went to court and the judge postponed the divorce. I now know that nothing is too hard for God. I would have given up on my stand had I not found your Ministry." (Canada)

"My husband asked to meet with me to sort out details of our separation. When I read my Bible I knew that God was speaking to me. Today, meeting my husband, he told me that he is filing for divorce. I told him about my stand calmly and peacefully. When I got home, God said to me "Well done, thou good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:21). I hurt, but I trust wholeheartedly in my Lord God." "I asked God for answers from His Word and he led me to Jeremiah 29:11. I believe this is God's stamp that my marriage will be restored. Praise the Lord. (United Kingdom)

"God is so good. After weeks of no contact with my spouse, he contacted me and apologized. I have been fasting and praying and today I felt led to do a special fast. I was obedient and within two hours of the fast ending, my spouse contacted me and apologized. We are one step closer to restoration. I'm glad I found this ministry as it helped me to focus on God and grow in Him. Praise the Lord that He is working in my spouse, as well as me." (Virginia)

"My prodigal husband has never left home. I have been praying and fasting for some time and am seeing great changes in my husband! He is starting to desire to make our marriage work! He gets up and wants to go to church on Sundays, and says he learns so much there. We have Bible reading time each night! Praise God! My husband is also becoming more patient and watching his words as am I! He told me he used to think I was nuts as I began to live for God but now he says he sees that is the way!! "Our divorce trial was to start yesterday. Instead, there was confirmation of my husband's message that he was withdrawing his divorce petition. He still has no desire to reconcile, though. According to our local laws, we would have to be separated for about four and a half more years for him to be granted a divorce without my consent. I used to live in fear of him filing for divorce but I learned to trust God. He is worthy of all praise." (Trinidad and Tobago)

“We DO serve an awesome God! I have been standing now for seven years, six past divorce. From time to time, I have seen movement on the other side of the mountain. Yet through it all, the Godhead (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) have made their presence known. They have taken me on an awesome journey of discovery of who I am in Christ. Through revelations and at the guiding of the Holy Spirit, I have been writing devotionals for about 6 years. At the urging of the Holy Spirit, I have compiled a number of these devotionals dealing with marriage, separation, divorce, and reconciliation into a book that is due out late spring of 2013. Title: God's Redeeming Love Found. As I finished compiling this manuscript, I realized that if this book helped save just one marriage from Satan's clutches, then all the suffering, heartache and tears that I have had during my stand will not have been in vain. Likewise, the growth in Christ I have experienced is time I would not trade for anything. Stand strong!”  (Texas)

“I have been standing for many years and our Lord continues to look after us in so many ways. He gave me wonderful Christian friends and sent me new ones to help cope with a daughter's illness. Recently friends prayed I would be sent where God can use me and I had an unexpected phone call to take over teaching students where someone had left suddenly. God's provision is amazing. This was His plan all along and I could not have foreseen it. Our Lord led me to a Bible led, vibrant church and gave me a roof over my head. He is my husband for this season, He never forsakes me or leaves me and I continue to stand upon His promise to restore my husband to Him, me, our marriage and family. “Yesterday my prodigal called to tell me he loved me and wanted to remain married! If you had asked me yesterday morning how I thought this would end I honestly would have told you that I thought I would probably go through the entire separation/divorce process and then remain single waiting for his return. God has been incredibly faithful through this whole process, and though there is much work to be done, I have complete peace that His hand is all over our marriage and family. Though my stand was not long, He has brought me to a place where I am forever changed for His glory and good. I felt peace throughout that He would sustain me, and even through the bad days of doubt and anger, He protected my heart from becoming bitter and callous.” (Virginia) 

"I have been praying for my sister's marriage. She called yesterday to share that God was revealing her husband’s past. We are believing God to heal her husband and restore their marriage." (Alabama)

"My husband emailed me some time after he moved out telling me he wanted to finalize the divorce. I prayed and waited several days. I called him and very briefly said that I thought our time apart had been good but that I didn't want to make any final decisions and that my heart was not into a divorce. He said that was fine." "A few weeks ago, I was visiting my parents in Houston. During the 'listening prayer' portion of my quiet time, the Lord specifically said to me, 'Keep the home-fires burning.' I thought that was interesting. He had never used that expression with me before. Later that day, I was in my mom's car alone and turned on her car radio, which I rarely do. I switched to a country-western station and a song came on where the man was singing about his wife who kept the home-fires burning! Whoa! Yes, Lord! Even though it has been a long time, from my perspective, I will keep stirring up the fire."  (Illinois)

"Today was my daughter's third grade liturgy and she asked her prodigal father to come and he did. It was the first time we were all together in church sitting in the same pew. We only said hello to each other. I had a parent walk up to me and tell me how peaceful I looked. It is amazing how God works." (Kentucky)

"God has restored our marriage. My husband has returned home for good after coming and going for a few years. God changed him. My husband rededicated his life to Christ and God has now shown us the vision to begin a ministry in helping couples have successful lasting marriages. He is doing all he can to be the husband and father Christ intended him to be. God is faithful. He can and will restore your marriage. Keep praying!" (Canada)

"Three days before Father's Day my prodigal sent me a text saying he'd be in town for the weekend. I knew it was God working because he lives hundreds of miles away and had no intention of being here. My daughter had prayed that she could see her dad on Father's Day and God answered. It was also the day she was baptized. God is amazing." (Ohio)

"My mom reminded me recently that my younger brother and sister are watching my situation closely. Every time Satan tries to get me to give up I think about all those who are praying for me and I think about how they would feel if I gave up." (Pennsylvania)

"Our son was so bad in his behavior that he was removed from school until he was evaluated. My son asked if he could talk to the judge and ask her not to let mommy and daddy get a divorce because it's wrong. I told my unsaved husband what our son said and he was speechless." (Illinois)

"My daughter has moved in with me. I've been driving her to and from work since she has no car. My husband's sister was in town and made plans to have dinner with our daughter. I've had no verbal contact with her for years. A few hours before I picked up my daughter from work she called to say she invited me to dinner, too! I'm so humbled how God unexpectedly reconnected me with her after many years. I've always known that God would restore my other relationships before He restored my marriage."  (Texas)

"I debated what to do for my husband's birthday. I sent flowers. I had been debating about stating my stand. I told him. He called to tell me to move on. I was filled with doubt if I had done the right thing. When I got home, I read my devotion for my spouse's birthday, titled 'To Speak or Not to Speak.' Thank You, Lord for the sign that I did the right thing." (Arkansas)

“I saw a testimony about the book of Matthew. Today I prayed that God would give me a word and our pastor talked about that book. After church I met my husband. He said the day of the divorce haunts him every day. I prayed that God would remind my husband of our marriage and the vows we made. He is seeing a new person who is a prodigal, too, and wants me to meet her. I agreed and plan to share with her about my stand and Jesus. Praise be to Jesus. My husband doesn't know God is changing him and he is on his way home. To God be all the glory!”  (Pennsylvania) 

“Thank you for your prayers. Praise God...I had listed our court date and it was suddenly delayed at the request of my husband. He didn't feel ready. God is working and frustrating any plans to end our covenant marriage. Praise God!”  (Wisconsin) 

“I must praise God for His encouragement to me. It's been many years of standing, and I was seeing no changes, my husband is in a non-covenant with the OW. I was starting to question if God was ever going to bring him home. I was begging God for a Word from Him. I had some college girls stay in my home overnight. There was a last minute change of plans, and a different girl came. But God! It was this girl who shared a testimony of her own parent's broken, then restored marriage. How blessed I was to hear this, and to know that God had rearranged the situation so she could come that night.Bless the LORD, all His works, in all places of His dominion... “Habakkuk 2:3- Though the vision may tarry, at the appointed time it will surely come to pass.The devil is a liar and I thank God for His mercies that are new every morning. Surely He is watching over His Word to perform it. Both my spouse and I were involved with other people. I have since ended the ungodly union and I am standing and believing God, the God who parted the Red Sea, the God who commanded the sun to stand still, the God of all flesh. He will make a way where there seems to be no way. I know before this year is up, God will give me victory and I will once again come to testify. The Lord is good. He provides all our needs.”  (United Kingdom)

“After spending Thanksgiving without my husband, I was feeling pretty down. Throughout my stand I have trusted in God with ALL my heart and leaned not on my own understanding. But my flesh was weak and I found myself in a crying pattern for the past few weeks I could not seem to get out of. I cried out to God while laying in a broken heap on the floor one night to show me a sign- a big one- that my husband was hearing His voice. The next night after prayer at church, I checked my phone and was shocked to see I had eight texts from my husband! All of them asking me for forgiveness, saying that he thinks about it every day! I fell to my knees in praise! He was listening to God speak! Through God, I was able to show forgiveness, tell my husband I loved him and to say the words that I have yet to ask in my  years of standing, ‘Come Home.’ I know now it is just a matter of time! Seems like every time I turn on the radio I hear 'I'll be home for Christmas!' PTL! Luke 1:45!”  (Minnesota)

"This past Tuesday I had knee surgery number eight. Since my wife abandoned our marriage, I have no one to make meals, check mail and drive for me. Before surgery, I asked God to guide the surgeon's hands and to give me a speedy recovery, so I could fend for myself. Two days after surgery, my recovery is equivalent to what should have taken several weeks. In previous knee surgeries, I have never experienced this type of rapid healing. However, I was never this close with my walk with God. His blessings are a miraculous answer to my prayers. Praise God." (Alaska)

"We have been separated for several months now but this past Thursday I received a text from my wife asking me to come over after the kids went to bed to talk. We talked for five hours about EVERYTHING and anything, completely open and honest. We emotionally connected for the first time in a very, very long time. We then spent the entire Friday together. She told me she never filed, has never stopped loving me and is glad I didn't give up on her! PTL. We have some roads ahead, but with God ALL things are possible. We are dating again on our way back to restoration! PTL.”  (North Carolina)

“God is good and I praise Him always!! Happy New Year to RMM, the standers and prodigals also. May 2012 be a year of amazing testimonies of restored marriages around the world. For the first time in many years I have been blessed to be able to see in the New Year with my beloved husband and son as a family. His heart has softened a lot and my prayers, worship, thanksgiving and fasting are all increasing. Please don't ever stop showing your spouse unconditional love. Charlyne, thank you so much for teaching on, 'zipping the lips.' I continue to read Hosea 2:6-7, the Hedge of Thorns over my husband plus Psalm 51 daily. I also pray and fast for his salvation. "After years of no contact my wife and I met at our son's wedding. I dreaded the day but my wife greeted me with a hug. We sat next to each other and spent most of the day together, remembering the times when our son was little. She said she was glad to see me." (United Kingdom)

"I have little contact with my husband. It's been several years since I've seen him. Not long ago my son was injured. We all spent several hours together as a family in the ER. There was laughter and I could tell that my husband enjoyed being with his family. I used to wonder if things would ever be the same for our family. That night God showed me with Him all things are possible." (Texas)

“I have been praying day and night and the Lord told me He was going to expedite His response. Yesterday my husband wrote me a message on Facebook, asking me to forgive him. He said he is coming back next week and he is promising he will never do something like that again because he loves me. He said he will speak to his sons, asking them to forgive him but he wants to do it face to face. Thank You Jesus.”  (Puerto Rico)

"My prodigal husband has our children for his weekend visit. He had bought them a new puppy. They called today asking to stay an extra day for the long weekend. I said, "yes." He hopped on the phone, told me the puppy was for me too and invited us all to church together for Easter. Praise be to God." (Australia)
